My girl wants to study grade 9 in UK next year, your suggestion please.

Though she is my only daughter and is a little bit sticky, she is willing to study aboard.
She is quiet, plays piano up to level 6 and likes swimming.  Her favourite subjects are English, Spanish, Science and Geography.  I think her academic results should be at the upper middle level.

Any recommended school for her?

I have approached an agent (da**) at Grand Plaza of Mongkok.  Is it reliable?

其實2nd INTERVIEW 都不是有什麼特別的, 多是問關於申請者的家庭背景及一些學校生活的事.
至於不做 SKYPE 之類的 INTERVIEW, 這個不敢肯定.  
我只知美國有些的做法是要家長安排去到當地才 INTERVIEW, 因為有試過案例 SKYPE INTERVIEW 時 INTERVIEW 中的所謂申請人與到當地讀書的人樣子有出入.  所以有些美國學校比較嚴.

家長要留意如果已經自行向心儀的學校報名, AA係唔會中間接手跟進；所以家長如想用Agent全程代為跟進, 應經Agent報名! 由其是那些名校, 自己報名的可能要2年前入申請表，但經agent可能只要一年已足夠；詳細情況最好同你地的agent查詢。

Anyone heard about Woldingham School?

Her 2013 A-level (%A*/A) and GCSE (%A*/A) are 55.3% (rank 58) and 78.14% (rank 17).  Seems quite good.  Also, its campus is huge (700 acres).

Is it because those top rank schools offer limited seats for Chinese students or the competition is keen among the boarders from different countries?

I still cannot find any source reporting the country distribution of boarders of the schools.

I also heard that "small circle" is common in top rank schools because they like to accept students of particular famous schools in HK.

學校會book taxi及在School bill 入數， 當然是數個學生share, 就算是160 pound, 4個學生每人都是40 pounds.

我覺得係毫無經驗之下，去AA到take咗個tests 先，睇下自己小朋友既程度，AA會俾返個分數你睇，你順便check下佢邊方面弱啲，咁可以自己返去谷下嗰方面既問題。至於之後你聽唔聽佢advice報啲乜學校或through 唔through佢報，都係你哋自己決定，就算take咗個tests都唔一定要揾佢報。另外其實英國嗰邊都係咁上下，佢哋特別鐘意某啲香港學校既學生。

哈哈～哈，或者唔應該叫agent（縱使佢係收佣作為家長，我只會留意佢會點樣幫到我，好小留意對佢哋的稱謂，原來有家長會介意點稱呼佢哋），叫返education consultant會好聽啲，對於CLC嚟講，AA係考試中心罷了，我冇記錯，朋友係喺鬼婆office考，Badminton就喺AA考(唔係經AA申請），一個考試中心。

個人認爲交通從來都不是選校的因素，一些遠至wales的學校在exeat會安排coach送學生到機場，一些學校則會安排數個學生乘搭一部的士到機場，視乎學校的安排，小兒就算回港都是搭九千多元機票的轉機，而不是BA或CX.

至於中五或以下的學生，一般都不准獨自離校，多唔多中國學生很視乎學校的排名，同近唔近倫敦冇乜關係。友人就讀一間排名二百多的學校，有成三成中國學生，讀了一年便幫他兒子轉校。

至於AA, 的確是徧愛傳統名校的學生，我識讀傳統名校的學生經AA都會入到排名頭幾十的學校。

I have gathered some location information of different schools and wonder if the transportation is a critical factor as she needs to return HK three times yearly.  What do you think?

Also,as Cathyleung63588 said, is it not preferable to be near London as there are too many Chinese?
