事實上不少家長都重視兩文三語，好少聽到單重一種語文。

Sometimes I heard parents speaking to their children in Chinglish with a strong Cantonese accent and wrong pronunciation.
I am an English teacher. I insist my children to adopt Cantonese as the mother tongue and I put them in a local K and P. At home, they watch English documentary programs and read English books.
My advice is, think twice before putting children in an English school. To build a good foundation in Chinese is 10X more difficult than doing well in English, and there is no way back.

語言是用來作溝通的，我們很幸運，細細個開始學英文，本身又是中國人，中文差極也溝通到。
很幸運中文益發重要，身為中國人的我們有優勢。我的外國同事（德國人），數年前開始學國語。他們要在中國做生意，必先能溝通。
我接觸的大陸同事，大部分英文好差，不能同外國人溝通。我的普通話雖不好，但至少能和大陸人溝通，有時，佢有佢講普通話，我有我講廣東話，大家都能明白。而我的法國同事，懂說普通話不懂看，開會時我幫手翻譯agenda.深深感受到，英普並重的重要!

其実何謂中文好？　現代年青人、讀伝統学校的、講D広東話（不要説讀/写中文了）、発音HAAK死人、意思就就真係要問幾次先地KUI地想講MAAK！！　我想中国変成強国、是不変的事実、但世界上又不止一個国家、可以看遠点呢。　西方国家応該会退下、但上来的不只中国、印尼也不可小看啊！！　我就PREFER我個小朋友造地球人、只要母語（OR　第一語言）講得好就好了、不一定是中文。　因為我最怕是両頭不到岸的学習態度。

中文以人數計是最大第一語言。不過要超過英文做最大第二語言就還要一段時間。

呢個年代大學生好少中文勁叻但英文低能的。如果英文真是天下無敵，找份外資工問題是不大的。最怕是兩頭吾到岸。

True. Just like in the past, we really learnt 'English", now as US is No. 1 in the world, American English seems to be dominant.

If China becomes stronger, no doubt, Chinese language will be more and more important. In fact, my managers' kids in western countries, they also start to learn Chinese.

If Chinese is more important than English, please choose Chinese secondary schools so that more can become Band 1 schools. Everything is in Chinese and the kid will be very interested in Chinese.
