Just got an email from YMCA today....YMCA Christian Primary School is located on Kwong Lee Road, Kowloon. We had been longing for it. Tuition fee is reasonable. Happy News!!

i went to enroll 2 programmes for my son in YMCA Beacon Centre and then drove to the new primary school surrounding....not so far from Beacon Centre...seems ok but i prefer a new school building more....we are waiting for their new school open day to take a look inside~....

要幾年時間睇，我一心希望有小學，但如果只係私立模式，又真係比較多選擇。如幼稚園有offer都唔知考唔考慮好

今日去左現場問，一樓之前比真光做臨時校舍，而家比返新會商會與ymca做基信，二樓是深水埗浸信會幼稚園， 預計於今年年底會搬過對面既新校舍，三樓四樓是前保良局預科書院，五樓是員工房，上去睇到操場仍是爛地，九月十二日開學真係好趕，讀既話要有心理準備暫時軟，硬件都麻麻，希望之後辦得好，比家長多一個選擇:)

請問宗教氣氛濃厚嗎？那麼中文程度是同本港的程度一樣嗎？

Just called the school, it is a private local school mixing British system and HK system. Media of language is English. They offered Putogua lesson too. It is not an international school. Now accepting students for P1 and P2. School fees is $50000 + 5000 misc fees.

基信學位比小學多，除非好差、入基信應該問題不大，但凡事無包100%.  我覺得語文環境好，小朋友考其他學校都有優勢！

你地有出席上星期六的簡介會嗎？感覺如何？此校由始至終都無提及係國際，私校定直資，但用本地+國際課程，eg 中文用啟思普通話版，其他跟cambridge and british national課程 , P1-2 無測驗及考試，很少written homework.ymca 辦學一向好好，但第一次辦此類型小學，都信得過。但我擔心係六年後如果中學吾收返，仔女程度足夠去考其他直資嗎？學校無TSA 即無參加派位，國際學校長期full加貴，到時無直資又無政府學校收米變左做孤兒仔？

是的。最基本的分類是提供本地課程和非本地課程，同一類別才可再作比較，而學費只是比較的其中一項。因有關YMCA小學的資料不足，之前有post說是國際學校，有的說是本地私校，所以我才說不同類別的學校，在學費上的比較。
