Just want to share the interview status with all anxious parents,
we just rec'd HKU MBBS interview notice but still awaiting other interview notices for other choices taken.

Glad if any parents rec'd notice can share.

For both medic schools JUPAS Admission Statistics (HKDSE) of 2012, Pls refer to the following thread and post 34:

You can see the Band A applications and Band A awards. Refer to the JUPAS original documents, you can easily find out the J vs NJ ratio systematically per institution per program, no need to guess and make wrong decisions.

港大醫學院一半學位俾non-jupas

non-jupas 大概有600人面了試

12月+4月 , 4月人數最廳大

4月21,23日面試, 那2天, 都用了2間大房

那2天隨時已有300人

近年醫學院都係一半位俾non-jupas

你自己可以計下數

我是醫學院的話

有100個位俾non-jupas (當少50%^少少)

平均in 成功機會, 是1/6 的話

我in 600人

但問題是, 有人符不到offer

是故, 我會派出120-130個offer左右

我統計了英基的小朋友

面試而有OFFER的人, 大概是1/6

頂尖英國學校寄宿學校的機率, 則是1/3

graduate 報醫為第二個學位的機率 ,則是1/12

ps 我更正了一些數字

good but not good enough
