Actually, there are many symptoms to ADHA but the most obvious signs are that they cannot stop talking no matter what even though they are interrupting classes or responding with nonsense. It is an uncontrollable urge influenced by their brain signals.
Moreover, they will also have unreasonable amount of energy, meaning that they DO NOT get tired from no matter how much exercise/sports they have previously done, they still have all the energy to climb everywhere.
Thirdly, their speech pattern is often interrupted by random thoughts. AD - attention deficient: meaning they lack ability to concentrate on certain thing or task, and the most common sign is that their confusing speech patterns. Simply put, what they say, don't make sense.
However, many ADHD kids are multi-lingual. That is because they are able to (in some extent) process different aspects/layers of information simultaneously but because they lack the ability to concentrate, they cannot reproduce a coherent speech.
I was similar to your daughter (not with the skirt lifting part) when I was a kid but that's because I really was bored with the lessons and didn't see the point of doing it. And of course, I get bored easily but don't have ADHD.
However, I would suggest to make her do some sit down activity even though she doesnt like it cos that will keep her mind active. Swimmers and sportsmen I know aren't exactly known for their intelligence because swimming and dancing doesn't require brain cells.
Apologies for the length and typing in English, hope this is helpful. |
