九龍塘小學 vs 嘉諾撒聖家（九龍塘）

聖家是否很傳統的教學方法？KTS是否無咁谷？我個囡性格有點懶散，又要很有興趣或很多motivation的事先可以專注到，連老師都話她的性格不適合讀傳統學校。

但我頗喜歡聖家的校風很淳樸，而且跟自己的宗教信仰相同，況且仲有個妹妹跟尾添！怎樣取捨好？真的很頭痛！請大家幫忙俾下意見！謝謝！

my niece says they can do their homeworks during tutorial lessons or 多元課外活動 lessons if u do not need to participate in school team functins or activities.

my niece always just spends less than an hour to do homework at home.

obviously, if kids can spend some time on revision every day, it would be better.  I think how many time should be spent on revision that is depended on the understanding of kids. u know some kids are good at English, they just spend a few time on English but can get a good result...thus, I think it varies according to different kids

I think the level of Holy Family is quite suitable for normal p1 students...u know some schools just emphasize that they teach their p1 students with p2 or more senior syllabus in English and Chinese ...it is not an easy job for a kid to catch up that...

想問下聖家都有功課堂嗎? 咁通常返到屋企有幾多樣功課做? 通常做幾耐?

除了功課以外, 每天需要用很多時間溫書嗎? Thanks!

同意mw7183,讀書懶散間間都唔好過...
有第二個跟尾,我會選Holy Family
我湊緊嘅親戚仔女喺Holy Family ( Kln Tong )讀p1,功課算種類多,但不是每樣功課量重...中文抄詞語都係每個抄三次,大多數每次少於10個詞語...others are mainly worksheets and workbooks only... not too many writing homework
teachers are nice and really want to help p.1 students to get ready for the new environment...they could give u some advice on how to help kids improve if u think u need help
and most of the time, students have time to finish most of the homeworks in school...they just need to do some at home
btw, Holy Family quite stresses on dictation no matter in Chinese and English... almost there are English and Chinese dictations every week
and I think the Chinese standard of Holy Family is quite high...the school provides many complementary exercises for students

if you change from holy family to KTS, there is chance as it is private school.

But if you change from KTS to holy family, the chance is slim as class insertion at HF is very difficult, only 2-3 vacancies each year.

兩間都是較傳統嘅學校，程度都較一般小學深，所以都唔易讀㗎。

樓上有人好想要聖家嘅好明顯，但KTS 也有好多人想要呢。明白樓主好難揀，其實Yanamami既分析都幾中肯。

看你想不想升中再煩多次，及幫妹妹受惠。你嘅case如一個囡可能揀KTS,兩個囡揀聖家機會會大d囉。（學費X2，好甘下）
