哈羅國際校「貴族化」惹質疑

哈羅香港國際學校至今有三成學生為港生。

備受「貪曾」前特首曾蔭權爵士眷顧的「貴族學校」哈羅香港國際學校，自從去年九月開校後，仍以取錄英國學生的比例佔最多，港生則佔三成。教育界立法會議員葉建源質疑，哈羅香港國際學校收取高昂學費，但仍吸引不少家庭環境較富裕的港生家長爭相入讀，令國際學校的原意變質，只走向「貴族化」形象，促請當局盡快檢討。

根據教育局提交立法會的資料顯示，截至今年四月為止，哈羅香港國際學校本學年共有七百六十六名學生，當中以英國學生居多，佔三成四，香港學生則佔三成，其餘學生來自澳洲、美國、加拿大、其他歐洲地區、亞洲及中東地區等。

6直資中學提供非本地課程

哈羅香港國際學校的學費按不同年級有不同收費，本學年學費由每年十三萬六千五百元至十五萬九千多元不等。債券主要分為四種，包括公司資本證書、個人資本證書、個人債券及保養費，費用分別為三百萬港元、三百萬港元、六十萬港元及五萬港元。

此外，資料亦顯示，本港共有六間直資中學於本學年除提供本地課程外，亦提供非本地課程，包括聖保羅男女中學、香港華人基督教聯會真道書院、拔萃男書院、聖保祿學校、港青基信書院及啟思中學，而本學年修讀非本地課程的中五學生人數，亦較去年增加。

絶対不是「奇」視、也不是容不容合問題、屋企細的話、只能招待有限度的客人、同奇不奇視、容不容合、真係無関。　点解D政府官員永遠都５明白？

這現象真不止於大学啊！不用特別注意、都周不時聴到PTH。　PYSICALLY　５係、但MENTALLY方面、我覚得香港已経陸沈左。

如果要講什麼貴族化，在好多平民心中直資的school fee可高達六千多一個月。。。也比平民話係貴族直資學校。睇下把尺點度和，當時邊間學校唔好彩。

A very popular mentality up north is that over the last 50 years Hongkong had gotten rich at their expense, and now it is pay back time.

My figure is from my friend who worked in university. The funding figure is on paper only, if you walk around in different universities, you can actually feel the real figures. It seems that central government is very willing to see the rising trend and our SAR government has not yet set the upper limit Hong Kong can tolerate. Like tourisium, who will say no ? I really think that our indirect donation to central government will one day 'dry up' local middle class HK people!

The figures in the previous thread is only come from my memories in the newspaper.
Many thanks for your valued information to correct me.
Lets share more personal view in this education policies under this edb.

Up to now, the upper limit for UGC funding oversea students is 20%, which includes mainland and other country students.

Non-JUPAS also includes students from mainland China ! In future Mainland students may occupy about. 30 % !

因為大部份儲備留作公務員金退休之用，所以對市民的資源真是有限！

This is what the government would like you to believe.

The HK Government has about the fattest wallet one would find among governments anywhere in the world, and most of that money is sitting idle in US Treasuries with yields of a fraction of a percent.

哈羅是有收政府(香港人)的資源的，因為那塊地是沒收錢的，那是我們香港人的資源。
國際學校是有一個重要任務的，就是讓來自外國長期工作的人士的子女有書可讀。香港作為(想做)國際大都會，但外國公司要來設分店，而他們的員工子女卻沒有學位，會嚴重影響他們來港的意慾，所以香港政府要確保那些國際學校有足夠後備學額來讓那些不定期來港開舖的外地機構的員工子女入學。
