其實在LHK 的外籍學生都跟到、中國人就跟唔到? 日本籍、印度籍、金髮的小朋友都講到普通話、問題不大。

1. School fee
KV is more competition than LH
But there is not provided the net

2. Time management
If parents are busy to work
I think KV is more suitable because the kid has not so many parent with kid activities and love to do homework by themselves.
And the Chinese subject in Kv is conducted by Cantonese
Whereas LH is conducted by Mandarin the parent need to teach the spelling of new words in Cantonese. It is exhausted a lot of time.
If you have time there is not a point.

3. Interview class
LH has provided many talks to let parent know how to open the door of the private primary school but the KV has no provided.

4. Homework
As I recently heard that the amount of Homework of LH is so huge especially in K2 and K3 first term compared to KV
There is a stress of the time management especially the nappy time.

All advice are for your reference.
Actually two kgs are very good.
Which one is better depending on your time, family expenditure and your kid living habits.

我朋友佢係buy傳統的，他很喜歡kv, 但也懷念lh的活動教學，針無兩頭利的。

Agreed both LH and KV 都要求紀律. 個人覺得LH focus train 小朋友out spoken, KV係咪有同一強項定專泣其它方面就唔肯定.

反而家長參與程度兩間學校好大唔同. LH 成日有親子活動, 要求家長參與度高, 而KV 可能只需要你放心較比佢. 邊個比較合適真係人人唔同.

I dunno about the academic difference between KV and LH.  However, I appreciate for the LH's school activities such as parent-child picnic, parent-school committee, sports day, parent visit, parents meeting with the principal, 小一啟迪班, 小一禮儀班....... All these activities do not apply on KV.

Hi my son is also an active type, and I've raised in BK whether a more disciplined environment or a relaxed one would be better for my son.

i'm interested to know KV's curriculum in chi, eng and maths.  Could you pls pm me and share?  thx

I think as long as the kids can control themselves upon the teachers' guidience, they are still fine in KV.
I have a frend whose boy is in KV, but he is extremely quite and passive, the teacher encourages him to talk more and be more active in class.

in fact, no matter which school you are in, all teachers do not like trouble makers.

I think you will have no regret to pick either school, because both schools are good.  

My kid is an active one, but I picked KV and gave up LH with no regret. it does not mean that LH is not good, LH is really good indeed. Up to now, I still recommend LH to friends.


My reasons to pick KV:
good discipline training
good at math and Chinese (ppl says the Eng. standard is low, but I think it is not, it is up to standard. Just that other biligual kindergarten teaches fast and hard and with NET)
more experienced teachers
better adaption to primary school life
welcome by primary school (heard from others, not sure)

The teachers at KV are very experience, they know how to handle different type of kids.
In terms of like or not, i think every teacher will have some bias in what type of kids they like.
Also I think sometimes naughty kids will make funny n surprise for teachers, which will make them happy !

去過LH觀課，其實LH都紀律要求都幾嚴，要求坐定定留心聴書時，亦要有反應參與

I have 2 friends and both of their sons are active & a bit naughty type and go to KV. They are happy in school.

我有朋友就是想小朋友定啲,受管教啲，pn讀lh, k1轉咗去kv.

選學校不是要選名氣的，而要選合適的。選一間適合小朋友性格，而家長認同它教學理念的學校。按樓主寫的，小朋友看似比較合適。

我自己覺得LH是深，kv是深＋嚴。
開朗的小朋友讀邊間都無問題，視乎你想改善他好動的性格，變得更為斯文，守規矩，還是揀一間適合他天性的比佢自由發展探索。
