維記幼稚園lB和傳統的分別

各位媽媽，我俾維記K1-K3行lB嘅問題confuse咗好耐真心想請教大家。

以我嘅認知通常人地講lB都係關小學中學事，即係維記小學中學係行lB，我明！但係如果維記某幾間幼稚園行lB某D唔係，咁係咪即係：

1. 行lB嗰幾間師資教材會有唔同

2. 如果Target IS先會揀lB嗰幾間，而lB嗰幾間多數好少跳返出去傳統小學？

3. PN都有分lB或傳統嗎?

4. 維記小學收返自己幼稚園嘅學生都分開lB或傳統，咁最後唔係又合返埋一齊咩? 同一間幼稚園課程是lB與否真的有分別嗎？

想問下近呢幾年升咗小學嘅維幼同學仔，程度追得上嗎？升傳統小學後，有很掛念維幼好似屋企一樣嘅校舍嗎？會坐得定定聽書嗎？轉變也應該挺大的！

I didn't say that St. Cat drills their students on academdics, did I? If that is how my statements above are understood, I am afraid I don't agree with you

Any one know about HH campus? It is not IB kindy at moment, but how about their teaching method? The English level is the same as other 4 IB kindy? I heard that HH is one of very famous, popular kiny and also very difficult to get in. Thx in advance.

I'm surprised about your statement on St Cat, coz I thought this school is famous for their emphasis on developing children's presentation and creativity, instead of drilling on academics.  I'm not questioning you but want to know whether my perception is wrong to start with.

Strongly agree! I won't expect a school can give 100 perecent. I think if the overall direction is good, we can find other ways to supplement. Even if p1 a bit behind vs others from academic kgs，I think no big deal. They can catch up soon.

呢個問題我自己一直都有諗…已經有心理準備要响屋企同佢補中文!不過學習興趣同自信心呢一啲學校有好嘅環境培養，對佢哋日後發展更重要!

我自己好buy IB既教育理念，因為小朋友可以有更大思維空間又可以讀得好開心，我認為應該好適合我充滿好奇心既寶貝女。但有一點我係擔心既，就係中文程度，如果target本地小學，讀IB既幼稚園會唔會跟唔到呢??

其實可以接受IB教育嘅小朋友真幸福！真正的教育本來是就應該是這樣的，只是香港這地方的教育變質了。

I think the teaching methodology of all campuses are pretty much the same.  It is just the school is not IB qualified only.  Mmm, it is unfair to say that IB is harder or easier than traditional way of teaching as both of them may cover the same scope.  For example:  teaching the word 米，they will let the kids touch the real thing.  Explain to kid how to grow rice.  Probably, traditional way will just focus on how to write the word and asking lid to memorize the word.

補充：我原意係維記同維記自己比較，唔係同其他學校比較。

我自己本身好鍾意維記嘅教學理念，教材，環境，老師。我小朋友而家返緊佢哋playgroup，每次都唔捨得走，學校每個角落同埋喺嗰2hrs內嘅每分鐘都吸引到佢嘅興趣。只可惜佢係維記收生範圍內嘅超細B，應該一位難求。

對我嚟講，教得深唔深並唔係最重要。我問呢個問題只係想知道 IB維記 Vs Non-IB維記有幾大分別，因我小朋友而家呢間係lB，唔知同其他有無好大分別啫
