如果父母英文能力有限, 可以幫小朋友係verb table 搵d patterns, 好似我上面個post 咁, 可以的話, 用發聲字典聽發音幫助串字,

有一類, 三個係一樣既 (全部單音節 -- monosyllabic) , e.g.

cost / cost / cost *
cut / cut / cut *
hit / hit / hit *
hurt / hurt / hurt *
let / let / let *
put / put / put *
set / set / set *
spread / spread / spread *
shut / shut / shut *

有 * 係P3或以上常用既

以下高班有用;

burst / burst / burst
cast / cast / cast broadcast / broadcast / broadcast
split / split / split

in the irregular verb table, there are some "regular" spelling rules, e.g.

ring / rang / rung
sing / sang / sung
spring / sprang / sprung

sink / sank / sunk
drink / drank / drunk
shrink / shrank / shrunk

blow / blew / blown
grow / grew / grown
throw / threw / thrown

creep / crept / crept
keep / kept / kept
sweep / swept / swept
weep / wept / wept

The changes of spelling are all related to the sound so it is better to know the pronunciation when spelling the forms.

我女小一, 冇正式教 past tense, 但要做journal, 即係要用 past tense 啦, 但一般都只用 went, saw, felt, 要用到其他的都係自己另外教佢的.  但雖然學校一般 p3 先教, 但有時同佢睇 reader 見到 past tense, 都會教佢少少的.

除左教串法仲要教埋讀法, 剩係加"ed" o既字都有4種讀法, 唔好一味教小朋友讀"ded"~

PAST TENSE 只分兩類：

1（ed類） 動詞尾巴加ed；
                 但動詞尾巴原是e，就只需加d；
                 如動詞尾巴是y，y 前沒有  a, e, i, o, u , 就要殺y，加ied
2 （大變身） 動詞大變身都可以有方法記，例如將相同改變的動詞一起記。
e.g.     不變身的：read，hit，put，cut...
            轉 i 變 a： swim －＞ swan，sing－＞sang, drink->drank
            將e 放在後，a 變o : speak ->spoke, break->broke
           
還有很多。。大概是十個口訣便可記到90％ 的irregular verbs

媽媽們可將irregular verbs 分好類，再教小朋友記，花點心思教小朋友，他們便可避免死記硬背。

如果無記錯，應該係規則動詞，不規則動詞
