I know a kid who needed to conduct interview first, then music audition and finally volleyball try-out, but all had been completed by end-Jan.

真奇怪! 難道DBS是一年一度武林大會! 瓣瓣都要開個try-out 先得! 要try-out / audition 早論都做晒啦!

try-out唔係前已經做佐咩, 我個仔有D同學, 一個打網球, 一個田徑, 已經try-out佐, 跟住2/2那天, 我地撞見田徑個同學interview添!

其實DBS今次interview會收既學位唔會多, 因好多位已經係11月至1月期間收左. 包括幾間英小成績優異者, 中西樂及體育特異功能人士.

今日致電學校, 結果會在三月尾四月頭發信通知, 不會有第二次interview, 阿仔都話中文深小小, 英文不難. overall ok, 我又唔明, 問題咁淺, 點讓學校挑選所謂精英呢? 學校收生, 真是各按其喜好 !

I can help with question 2: what will be the total number of seats in a form. There are 246 seats spread into six classes in the school year of 2012/13. Comparing to other younger DSS, this is a dense size.

How many students from primary school get into the secondary school?

What will be the total seats for Form 1?

Are they picking kids with that seems to be "smart" in the interview with so so academic standing, or they are picking up kids that are with excellent academic standing according to EDB ranking orders?

or the interview is just a formality?

Briefing session 都有講明揀300-400人interview 再挑選..
