各位家長:

今早上來自己都嚇了一跳, 小小分享會弄成這樣, 好心做壞事的另一件鐵証.

上了EK 5 年, 很感慨現在的EK 確是有一點不同了. 少了和而不同的善意討論; 多了惡意攻擊和爭執. 大家都開始謹言慎行, 怕麻煩寧願沉默起來.

其實大家來這裡的目的都是一致的 - 想教好孩子,  想孩子好.
同意閣下所言: "多年前從前人身上學得好多, 這種承傳是需要所有人一起延續. "
感謝前輩們無私的分享.

You are welcome.  I believe most parents will do it just like now.  Mentioned by other parents, those messages or comments would mislead parents who have no idea or look for reference.  Hope he/she won't come back and stir up again.  

We could see a lot of fair parents in BK.

我去年都係上來分享我小朋友間學校.d人剛收到我小朋友學校的offer,手上有其他offer,問大家意見.我就將我小朋友學校的嘢分享.俾人話我類似好巴閉,知你小朋友間學校威了.入到去讀都唔使覺得只有那間學校最好.一來我當時只俾了我小朋友學校的意見.二來我一直冇說過其他學校不好.我還說每一間學校有每一間學校的優點.
而我小朋友只讀一間學校,我除了分享他的學校還可分享其他嗎?

嚇到我以後都冇再分享我小朋友間學校d嘢lu.當時心情都DOWN左幾日架.

係好心做壞事.

I let my kid know "Tin" is British English while "Can" is American English for a small closed metal container. They are equivalent in most of the cases :-

e.g. a tin of beans, a tin of corns = a can of beans, a can of corns.

Excepted if the content is drinkable, then we can only use "Can",

e.g. a can of coke, a can of soda => correct
a tin of coke , a tin of soda => wrong

Finally, I introduce a new word to her "pop cans", it means 易拉罐.

In general speaking, Hong Kong people who educated in local school is weak on daily life vocabulary but I have confident that their word bank related to professionals or rare items are superb. I really admire parents can teach their kids successfully like TYYC. My kids will escape or shift to other topic whenever I want to teach them more.
BTW, for the difference of Tin Vs Can. Is that can are usually for cylinder-like object while Tin for block like object ?

After reading so many pages of this post, I can't just keep quiet and not to express my view...

I do not understand 超好爸爸 / prodef - why are you alway put words into other mouth.. and comment on others happy sharing?!  
超好爸爸 / prodef have posted many post on BK especially on DGS and SPCC interviews and on 2nd interviews.  I read through all these and 超好爸爸 / prodef sound very unhappy with other sharing alway.  Then started telling others he/she is worrying her/his girl to miss her 2nd interview.  I wonder.. other sharing on your post on longer hours interviewed by SPCC then.. he/she will comment badly on others showing off.. making rumours.  although everyone has different interview hours by spcc. it does not mean they are all got into 2nd interview.  or creating any unwanted rumours here.. as others are just sharing the fact.  If you cannot take the fact then I would advise not to post anything on it for sharing.  Your motive have deterred others to share eventually...

Please excuse me here to voice out my view.... I hope 超好爸爸 / prodef will not hurt anyone feeling here especially to those are willing to share.

Totally agree! 每一個孩子在天父眼中都是獨一無二，都看為珍寶！衷心欣賞TYYC無私的分享，為她的小女孩的成長而欣喜！同時其他媽媽，您們為孩子付出的也不會白費的，一起努力！
