請問除了Academic Asia，還有哪些好的agencies﹖Academic Asia好像生意太好，個案跟進不足。有人用過Coopers & Coopers嗎﹖

我最近去過不同的agent問升學資料,AA雖然冷淡,但都算有交帶,有問有答. 但有兩間agent是BK 網友話用過好的,有間仲話one man bank跟得好,我地專程由新界搭車過港島,做assessment,傾左成個鐘,最後話會幫我地揀一些適合的學校email比我,又話雖然唔做state boarding schools,但有問題歡迎問,佢會比意見,但過左成兩個星期影都無,另一間也是網友話好好,我特登請假上去問,又係話會幫我揀合適的學校email比我,又係等左數天什麼消息都無,我懷疑佢地知我地可以選state boarding ,唔係一定要揀independent school,所以懶得招呼我,唔知你地有無類似的遭遇呢?

我覺得搵排名一百以內的boarding就要搵AA, 小兒及友人所考到的學校如Tonbridge, Winchester,Oundle,St Mary ...

Your son is applying for Year 9, right?  AA's staff is good though I'm not using them.  My son will have his interview this week and will have another interview by end-October.  He will also take the entrance test in October and January 2014 respectively.

We target at top UK schools and also applied thru AA. Will take the interviews on coming Monday during their TOP SCHOOLS WEEK.
So far their consultant is responsive to my calls and emails, revert within the day. I am quite happy with them ar.

正如CPU1995所言, AA有好多學生考入排名高的學校, 我亦曾與AA聯絡過, 她們亦給我十分有用的意見; 但由於我已自行向學校申請, 不是經她們, 因此不會中途接手.

如希望經Agent申請入學, 最理想是由她們一手包辦.

如果選規模較小的，跟進得較緊，可以選擇麥理博教育中心，我曾致電過，接那位羅小姐很 nice 及熱誠，Tel: 23001824 ，地址在旺角 ~~

No need to fly to Uk for interview unless you want to visit the school.  

I applied school by myself because I applied for day school.  I submited the forms and emailed the certs to the school direct.  I did the entrance exam and skype at Academic Asia.  Academic Asia offered a place, received and sent the paper from and to school, and charged $800 for handling/sevice charge.

It's difficult to visit the school because the school normally will close for upgrade renovations during term breaks like summer, xmas and easter.  

The only good timing is Chinese New Year.  You can inspect the dorm and facilities, meet the students, otherwise you have to take some school days off.

咁如果佢係收學校錢會唔會只係幫學校做野，只要收到學生就得?無需要諗下家長有咩要求?

anguish 有D Agent 真係只智揀一D貴學校俾家長, 又要成日叫你考試 (可以收考試費), 所以好靠口啤, 最好多D問下人, 自己搵多D資料睇. 唔好佢叫你入邊間就邊間, 要 check 清楚是否適合你個小朋友. 雖然係學校俾 commission 間 agent,  咁又唔洗擔心, Agent 主要都係初頭幫你搵學校, 小朋友入讀之後, agent 個角色就慢慢退下, 最多就係放完大假之後幫你約監護人/學校去接學生, 因為訂機票又唔係搵佢地. 而且小朋友大左, 好多野都可以自己搞掂, 佢地可能仲熟過 agent, 有D仲會自己約埋同學仔一齊訂車票/機票. 不過如果中途轉校又一定要搵佢地喇. 如果佢地服務唔好可以試下向學校投訴.

唔靠 agent 自己搵學校都可以, 不過可能會叫你飛去果面考試 !
