各位家長，首先恭喜你的孩子能順利升讀本地大學資助學位，本人有興趣了解初步從文憑試升大學的情況，作些簡單分析及比較。

只需要提供以下資料：
1。大學名稱
2。入讀學科
3。最佳5-6科成績  - 中，英，數（核心或M1或M2），選修科1，2，3
4。透過Fast Track，其他途徑入學，例如校長推薦，運動員，奧數香港代表等等
5。JUPAS
6。第幾志願

The IB DP 2012 results of CIS has been released:

I guess (1) firgure 40/45 refers to 2011 which is 29%. (2) "over 70% of all grades in all subjects were either a 6 or 7." refers to 2012 which is 71.5%

However, I don't quite understand the following extract from the above:
"Over one-quarter of the Class of 2011 achieved a score of 40 or more points out of a maximum possible of 45 points; one student achieved scores of 44 out of 45 points; and one student achieved 45 points. On a scale of 1 to 7, over 70% of all grades in all subjects were either a 6 or 7."

Can anyone tell me whether the above information refers to 2011 or 2012?

I guess LPC and CIS can be better than DBS in IBDP 2012. Looking forward to see their exciting results.

For HKDSE results, LW, DGS, SPCC & CCSC etc should be better than DBS. But university admission rate may be coparable, it's difficult to comment for the first batch.
I would like to know the revised results after appeal. I heard from my son that some DBS students just Chinese got 3 after appeal, most of them will get in top programs (BBA, LLB and BBA & Law) in HK.

我都恭賀男拔DSE一班有8個入咗港大醫科, 不過其它班我個人認為就唔多樂觀了.  最好有人可以提供一下本港各英文中學的最新入大學情况就感激不盡.

林護精英班, 一班都有39人成功考到大學, 可喜可賀!  但其它班就唔清楚了!

Thanks for your reminder.
My son's view similar to your daughter and he prefers LLB. My wife and I prefer BBA Law only.

Well, it's his choice anyway.

叉開少少...我女現在在律師行做暑期工 (中學大師姐開的)....跟班律師混熟了....她們說，都是比較喜歡請讀LLB的畢業生，因為立志要做律師的人，都會一條心去讀LLB，而不是讀 double degree的 (e.g. G Law, BBA Law, Eng Lit Law).
這是純粹我女那間律師行的律師意見，並不代表其他律師行和律師是這種想法。只是說出來給大家多個參考。

而我女一向都是立志做律師，所以都從來無想過要讀double degree , 給自己一條轉行的後路。

我都用那網站數據，歸納醫科的收生成績。我只會䆺慎使用，使用那些數據，我發現LLB 收生要求比
BBA -Law還要高，所以我沒有貼出來，我怕誤導其他家長。

I readjust the table and show the scores of best of 5 and best of 6. I calculated 4 core + 2 , normally the score will be lower.

In the table also demonstrate 70+% for A1 and 90+% for A 1-3.
