用咩語言同小朋友溝通好呢？

年尾要考K1,有些kg用廣東話面試，有些又會用英語面試，平時用咩語言同小朋友溝通好呢？

以上大家都講到母語的好處....咁其實幼稚園選英普班在學校唔講廣東話會唔會都減弱小朋友的表達能力呢？我正為出年K1選唔選英普班而煩腦....

同意！我都唔會以學校的面試要求來決定同小朋友講咩語言。
我只會用自己的母語，因為同自己小朋友溝通應該用自己覺得comfortable的語言。

我識一個同事, 佢英文完全係HK STYLE. 但工作上用我覺得冇所謂. 但佢囡囡出世之後, 佢屋企人只係同小朋友講英文, 呢個就係問題所在.

佢小朋友仲係BB時, AROUND 1-2YR, 果時佢個囡好得意, 又唔怕醜. 周圍同人玩嫁, 但到咗3-4YR時, 我聽返舊同事講, 佢個囡有自閉同語言阻礙. 要入特殊學校.

E生話好大原因係個小朋友冇母語所致.

另一個CASE 係我個FD個囝, 佢係混血兒, 老豆係猶太人, 啊媽係香港人, 雖然父母D英文都好好, 但唔係NATIVE 果隻. 老豆又成日唔係香港. 我個FD又要返工. 得個賓賓睇往. 所以佢哋全家都係用英國溝通. 佢個囝自細就真係聰明過人, 我仲同我個FD講, 夠6YR同佢做資優果個TEST.

點知佢話學校4YR果時己經叫佢做(即係上年做咗), 個報告各方面都超班. 但一到語言方面, 一下趺咗落嚟 (唔合格). 個E生都同我個FD講, 因為佢哋全家人溝通都唔係用母語. 導致小朋友溝通能力唔夠. 而另一方面小朋友心智都有問題 (唔記得咗係咩嘢問題), 原因都係小朋友語言能力不足引起.

所以上年開始, 佢要個囝返2間幼稚園, 一間INT'S SCHOOL, 一間LOCAL SCHOOL.

所以係呢度, 希望家長門唸清楚, 用母語同子女溝通係好緊要. 唔係真係會害咗小朋友一世.

To be honest, I spoke Cantonese and went to local school and I have to say my English is not bad at all.  
I work in early education and see all these children speaking broken English with bad grammar and no Cantonese at all.   Learning languages work like a coat hook, the foundation needs to be good and strong before any other languages can hook on like a coat.  Foundation is good, coats can be hang on and stay on strongly, foundation is not good, how can you hang coats on properly?
Not being able to speak Cantonese, meaning not being able to communicate with the general public, can't even go n order food and buy stuff and be independent.  Children learn a lot from just listening and watching people around them, these children misses these opportunities to broaden their horizon.  
Personally, I've seen many people who went to local schools, and managed to learn good English but I've never seen anyone who went to international schools managed to learn good enough Chinese.
My husband cannot read/write Chinese and has finally realised how disadvantage he is, but it's almost too late to learn now.

我小朋友21個月。

我基本溝通係廣東話，溝通首先一定係佢明白你，你明白佢。

但我都會教英文, 主要靠唱歌仔同教名詞。
E.g. Apple中文係咩?蘋果英文係咩?

效果好好~~不過成個多咀仔咁~~

我個鬼老同事都問我點解有時在街聽到好多 parents 同小孩講好 Cantonese accent 既英文，文法同用詞全錯！

其實小朋友慢慢長大佢地要講出自己感受，如父母都用英文表達不到自己內心感受，反累了個小朋友！自問自己由讀書到做野都生活在外國好長時間，英文不算 local 英文，但我對女兒都用廣東話，因我一定諗同表達快好多，英文佢遲些返外國一定識，亦可出去找 NET 教！

我試過幾日同亞仔講英文, 佢好快學到幾隻生字, 但系就覺得同佢距離無咁親切, 所以都系每日既特定時段先用英文溝通
