St Cat PN PM 或維多海峰園上午PN點選擇

請問各位媽媽看法:St Cat 緊係好,不過我們住港島,坐車要8,9個字.
維多海峰程度低D,不過都好好,都要坐5,6個字車.旁邊大廈大裝修,屋苑又裝修,返學放學好危險.
我們還未決定之後上本地或國際.  what is your thinking?  thank you.

Hi sobmama, 係有D辛苦但值得，因沿途有好多東西學。我個仔一歲三個月讀維記海峯園pg, 二歲三個月讀SC PN.

hello anlee3, i m living in hk island too, 囡囡準備報2013年PN, 仲諗緊報唔報kln tong既學校, 其實... 咁細個小朋友搭咁耐車返學辛苦嘛? 而家都等緊維記既pg, 希望會收啦 (囡囡下個月先至一歲), 你囝囝果時幾多個開始讀呀? 謝~~

thank you all for the comments.  latest news is that Victoria harbor heights will have classes in their CWB campuses in august, then in Sept, when renovation is completed, classes will be back at Harbor Heights.
But I still keep hearing very good recommendations on St. Cat... headache...

Yes the renovation also worries me a lot

Personally I don't know any kids from St Cat and thus have no idea how much worse off are Vic's kids in terms of academic and other aspects

But as a FTM I believe academics like alphabets, phonics, writing practice, simple arithmetic and Chinese words practice can all be done at home

Whereas social skills sharing toys interactive play etc. can not be done at home with much ease
Same with getting independent like Changing shoes

I personally would pick a school that fosters my child's overall development and supplement academics at home

St cat has always been a very favoured school to me as I was also a graduate. But I am saved from your dilemma as thy didn't accept my child

平衡各方面啦...i am concern victoria academic weak D, also renovation next to the school may be dangerous

海峰園維記好少位，係咁多間維記最難入嘅一間。最top嘅k好多會揀呢間嘅小朋友，如聖公會幼稚園（linked to DBS/DGS); St cat係好，但PN新辨，又收成二百人，似乎參差d。其他分校比較我會揀st cat, 但海峰園比較我會放棄st cat.

I also lived in HK side and chosen SC.  In fact my son hv studied victoria 海峰園 Playgroup and then SC PN, we love SC more. My son improved a lot after studied in SC. SC is absolutely better. No regret!

SC就中西合璧,又有輕鬆學習,嘅有語文訓練!較多親子活動!Victoria就行IB,可直升維記小學,語境唔錯,為將來考直資鋪路!
我比較鍾意SC!
