My boy was accepted in the first round. I dont think it makes any difference.
Just apply some KG as back up. If your kid is so unlcuky that got into waiting list, just think there is no chance to get a place for K1. Dont be so naive to believe the school with give priority for exisitng kids, who they have taught for 1 year. No sympathy from this school.

九月開學，11月已經會收到通告！通知收返定waiting!
所以你今年照報其他學校，假設11月收到信收返後就可以輕鬆D自行決定仲去唔去in

Hi Lala.

Your kid is existing PN student or not? So from your understanding, for existing student, the earliest time they will offer for K1 is Nov, right?

You have offer before the final assessment in 18 to 20 June 2012? Usually when is the earliest time they will offer existing PN student?

Be honest I didnt apply many schools, if he doesnt go for KV, my son has no school to go in Sept.
My kid is only 3 years old, I can see his improvement from 2 years old onwards. The school can forsee he will not improve in the future ma ?? Why they have to make the jugement at such an early stage ??

okay, the school might not like a particular type of kids, however why would not they give their heart & honour to accept those kids? These are the kids who have study at the school for 1 year already, not just the just the kids they interview for a few minutes. Why dont they give the kids a chance to change & learn? The school just give up on these kids ! Why?? The point is there are so many existing kids have released their seat and the notice said existing kids have priority?

學校自然有佢鍾意/唔鍾意嘅小朋友類型
但唔等於小朋友有問題！正如小朋友鍾意傾計，佢無錯架！只係如果你放佢响要守課堂規矩嘅KG，大家辛苦，佢聽唔到書又騷擾到其他小朋友！
另，KV都係要乖乖守規矩嘅學校，家長如果對呢種上堂模式有不同意見，建議3思！但傳統教學嘅小學老師話：對上堂講嘢係零容忍！
所以家長請好好諗清楚自己要乜
(坦白講，由N班老師話小兒愛發問，K1老師好proud咁話用咗一個學期令小兒坐定定，學期尾好奇問老師：小朋友多發問嘛？
當答案係~好少，佢甚至唔會主動舉手答問題！我個心有d痛....)

Same feeling with bb8608, I didn't see the principal yestersday at my time is before lunch hour. The class master said the way to improve, but it is confusing. I just said that they can reject or earlier to reply the parent next year. The waiting or the priority is confusing too. I am to naive to trust the school. Anyway, no chance to remind the same school and keep ahead for the next stage.
