I transferred my daughter out from ESF school to a local primary school (SFA) and then to a reputable convent school on Hong Kong Island. I think my reason for transferring my daughter out is that ESF Chinese teaching is poor as per Smlsml said that at international school.. kids will need extra tuition for Chinese and maths to be better in academic as they learn slow and not much homework. We the parents wont know how much they learn as they only did assessment with no real exam. So.. I rather my girl join a top notch primary school that only pay half as the school and spend the rest to tuition if request the same ...
coz he didnt seem to hv learnt anything in these yr, except that he likes reading.
Like many local sch kids, he has to attend tutorial classes of Chi, Eng n Maths. In this sch, not enough, if any, drilling in maths problem solving or grammar or writing is given. So, what's the pt staying there?
