Starting from Nov., my son can go to school.. But, I don't kmow why the start date is 5 Nov, but not 1 Nov.

There is no interview needed, Just wait for a letter. Maybe next week you'll have it.

Me too. I know Guideposts will give forms in early Oct. First come first served. Huen Mei only needs telephone calls. Other better KGs need application forms

wow...so early!  I need to prepare earlier this time.  I was late to apply PN for my son, so we don't have many choices.

yes lor...becoz demand and supply change, more demand and less supply considering more and more 雙/單非 child coming to HK, so, kindergarten will choose the "best quality" students.  situation will even worse in the coming 10 years.  BTW, it's time to search for your desired kindergartens, some have alreday posted the info via website     so tired

Thanks Charis_mummy. My friend told me his son first studied in p.m. class but later on when some quit in Sept or Oct, his son moved back to a.m. class. So the chance is still here. But I also admit for Tiger year, there are much more babies than the past. So it is really hard to get a place for our kids. In Sept, another battle will start again. To some degree, I really don't like kindergartens have so many application procedures and check the 親子relatiohship so much. It is we PARENTS who are looking for a suitable kindergarten and check if the teachers are loving and caring enough, but now the situation is odd, 本末倒置!!!!!!!

Class size is about 14 students, seems a.m has 3-4 classes but for p.m, i 'm not so sure., may be more.... heard that Gar Sum will prioritize the early registered student to change from p.m. to a.m class (if there's change request), for late registration like me (registered in Dec 2011), can say no chance to change lor....

I also want to know the no. of students in a class. Also how long does the registration take? Their rule is quite interesting -only Sept or Oct can have a bigger chance to have a.m. classThough I handed in the form on 1Sept last year.

I asked Gar Sum just now and they said those submitted the PN application last year in Sep/Oct will have higher chance to change from pm to am wor.  Too bad, i sumitted the application quite late in Dec last year, may have no hope to change....just settled down PN application matters, few months later, will tie up again for K1 matters.

We also got pm class. We have requested to change am class, but still have no news.

Oh. Don't worry. Still have chance. I'll do the registration next Sat. I think that's for a.m. class and I think some families may reject if they've got other offers. At that time, your girl can change to a.m. class if you've applied. But it's really hard time to wait for a letter. In Sept, another harder time for K1 applications.

pegpeg, congratulation ! u r so lucky to have a.m. offer, i gave a letter to Gar Sum on the date of registration (26/May) and ask to change from pm to am, but till now, they still didn't offer me a.m class ar....cannot be yr son's classmate tim.....

I also feel very surprised when I saw A.M. class. I thought there should be an interview first or my son can go to P.M. class only as he's on the waiting list. How about you WhiteBerry?Is you kid a.m. or p.m.?
