Our kid got accepted without 2nd interview and connection.

I bet you put the words in wrong sequence?
There are parents who revealed they have no connection but got accepted without 2nd interview.  And other parents said the 2nd interview was for those who have siblings/old boy/old girl/connection etc.

my colleague's child got 2nd interview and got accepted. There is no doubt there is 2nd in for some children. I guess

those with connection - strict in after 1st interview
no connection but smart - 2nd in and some got accepted

That's why I wonder where do these 2nd interviewees go?  All got accepted?
If so, I wonder why they need this 2nd interview

There were parents shared the experience of 2nd interview so it did happen.  Seems that not many had the 2nd int but mostly with sibling studying in CCKG already.

my friend's son got in no 2nd in. I think there is no second interview just some people spreading rumors.

Don't give up!  My boy was on wait list and he graduated from CCKG last year.

唔好太灰心，cckg is not the only choice! Believe in your kid.

其實只係一間可能較為出名的幼稚園而已，入到又唔 guarantee 到 d 乜 (有家長都話過未必考到心儀小學)，入唔到又唔代表無機會 (我都知有家長當年考唔到 CCKG，但最後都考到 DBS & SP Co-ed)，無需要冠上 "神校" 之名，而令到相關既討論減少同變得失實。
