我買左大約3個weeks, 日日都播隻starter 比啊b 睇 (現9個月),
但啊b成日坐吾定, 成隻dvd 只鐘意唱歌仔部份. 咁係咪播夠一個月後都改播 v.1

is it only DVD? would there be other teaching aids as in YBCR, there are 2 sets + 1 box of cards.

之前團購有噃, 伯樂都有得賣但其實 taobao都有...仲平一半

I think it really works.

My son watch it since 3 months old (he cannot sit very well that time, and i hold him on my lap). Then stop watching it after 1 year.  I also use the cards from the same series.  My son can read when he is about 14-15 months old, he can read all the words appears in the 5 DVD, and he also understand the meaning of the words.  If i show him the picture of say an elephant, he can speak 'elephant'.

But my son doesn't like the YCCR, maybe the words are not too relevant for his life, and some words are too difficult to understand.

I also use other bigger flash cards, you can try to find it.

I don't watch other TV programmes, instead, my ultimate target is to let him read a book by his own after learning the words.  

Where can we buy the 'discover' as mentioned by other mama?

I guess my daughter is too active. She doesnt reli like watching the YBCR dvds....

好羡慕你地既小朋友肯睇。
我囝囝唔係好like，睇5分鐘之後已經冇咩心機再睇，所以我都勁少播。
不過我囝囝好中意聽歌，近期戀上睇Barney（電視播緊）

都可以咁講, 比bb 聽英文~
3個月可以聽住歌先, 到到個人"硬淨" d, 一日可以坐到幾個字先開始play比佢睇, 由5分鐘開始慢慢加時間到睇晒成隻disc, 唔好咁近睇, 又唔好睇咁耐其實就ok o既, 最重要o既地方係-- 唔可以睇其他電視
我o係taobao買o既, 不過hk 都有代理, 貴幾倍

遲唔遲我諗睇你bb like唔like 坐定定睇, 有d bb因為已經識得走黎走去就唔會咁定咁睇晒囉。好似我個女而家都唔會坐定定finish 一隻碟, 但我都照播啦, 佢唔係坐定定睇都會聽到加嘛。
如果armarm開始睇可以play ybcr 先, 然後我建議睇 discover series, 之後先yccr

好似 "discover" 果套已經教 pentagon, isoceles triangle, hexagon, heptagon, octagon etc... 阿女會認到d 字, 但meaning我估佢就唔係個個知, 但佢見到hexagon佢會講 bee hive。
有時o係街見到d 形狀佢都會講, circle呀, triangle呀, baby can read有教呀咁樣樣。作為一種啟蒙教材, ybcr 唔錯。

有用就一定有用, 但用得其法同埋唔好過份依賴, 睇太多都係唔好咖。
我個女由5個月開始, 我叫工人一日play 15 至 30分鐘比佢睇, 到而家(2歲)佢都好有興趣睇, 我地finish 晒 ybcr果5隻dvd, d card 佢基本上識讀晒。 已經睇緊 your child can read 同埋 your baby can discover。
我地o係屋企唔講英文o既, 我都有個主張係中文行先, 但坊間教幼兒中文o既dvd 好少, 所以我平時係自己教中文, 成家人都係講中文, 睇dvd就only 睇bb can read series (我屋企平時好少開電視)
但以認字黎講阿女認英文字叻過中文好多, 有好多好深o既字佢都認到, 呢個真係bb can read o既功勞喇~
