PIP (KLN) Vs Victoria ( HG)

PIPS seems to be more multicultural but not good for local school in future . Victoria has its brand name but the teachers there seems to be more 'old school' type ( i dont mean to be offensive !). Both provide offers. How should I choose ?

每間學校也有它的特色丶優點及有所欠缺的地方；在兩所/多所學校裏選擇當然是魚與熊掌。我只是因為以下幾點來考慮：
1。與家距離（步行vs1小時校車）
2。語言環境(每天三老師三語vs兩語+小許普通語）
3。師生比例
4。女兒性格及能力（在維記，老師會接受她的不足，發揮她的長處）
5。PN 經驗（由於熟習了PN，很喜歡維記，有種做生不如做熟的情意結）
6。收費（學費／學費+車費，其實兩間差不多，維記沒有其它雜費，茶點任食，最適合好食的小女）
至於小學，暫時最喜歡的是HKUGA.
曾看過別人這樣的寫：沒有最好的學校，只有最適合自己子女的學校

Could you tell more why you gave up SC offer? Do you target local primary school?

My daughter studies at Victoria K1 (HG). We likes the school very much. All staff, including the principal, teachers, and minor/ clerical staff are nice. They know the names of individual kids and can recognize kids' patents even the staff are not the respective class teachers.
There are a lot of activities organized by school / parents-teacher association. Teacher to student ratio is good. 3 class teachers per 20-24 in PN. Always in small group teaching, ie 1:6-8.
The teachers is patient to kids. The looks our kids positively.
My girl had SC offer in K1, but we gave up at last.

國際班~去年可能較易入，但我也是五月才收到通知有位。當時已考入目標學校了，所以放棄學位了。

Because you didn't join their PG.   I had join their PG but gave up both PG on March, also PN.Because of got YSIC PN offer.

Already done when in August last year but still heard nothing from the school. Sigh!

When is the deadline for accepting PIPS PN offer for playgroup students? I didn't join their playgroup so have to wait and see if there is any vacancy after playgroup's acceptance.

Not much reference as pips(Kln) is new. what i know is most of the students promoted to int'l primary schools.

Is pips' primary allocation good? (for the trilingual stream)?

Personally i like pips more than Vic. My son is joining pips pg  and I like the way and the methodology that they used to teach students.  The only thing that I am concerning is their primary allocation. For Vic, I m a bit worried about the disciplinary problem, and the primary allocation for HG campus doesn't look great. Can anyone with children studying at Vic share more?

Have u applied for the Pips pn? The staff told me students attending their playgroup will have priority in applying pn class.

Yes, my daughter is PIPS playgroup student; but nothing in Victoria.

I haven't jointed their playgroup but have bought their debenture. I applied for the pn class last month & the staff told me the waiting queue is march 2013 ...
