For enopi, I never let my boy to use the blocks and shapes since the tutor haven't show me how to use so far. For more info, if Kumon, need to 死記 making numbers of 10 (合十法) only, 1+9=10, 2+8=10, etc.  It is useful in the equation than others.

Is making number = 1+9=10, 2+8=10, etc.?  I am guessing only, if yes, it may need 死背, similar to multiplication chart.  If no, forget it.
