回覆：GCSE 選科

我看大部份選擇基於成績，是否容易攞A或A*來選科。

我會以大學本科為本，以心儀大學的收生條件為綱，因為GCSE考試中，可以認定自己的喜好及強項，對AL事半功倍。

你可上個別大學網站research個別subject, 例如我個friend說London u law subject對讀history或political science有preference.

我就唔明學校冇triple science讀，好似double science是比文科生讀，阿仔間學校要double science取A star先比讀中六理科。

阿大間學校好似一個double science A star先等如triple science A，因double science是比triple淺好多。

至於點揀科就要睇心儀大學個別科目的收生要求。

另外中國學生唔好讀中文，因排名高的大學㑹唔計中國人呢科的成績，只有中下逰的大學才計, 個人認為讀中文是浪費時間，你可葽求學校考GCSE中文，還有如讀8科是太少，很多名校是計10科成績，對於中六轉校有難度。

學校只提供Double Science，怎辦?小兒對technical subjects十分有興趣，哪應該奌揀subject combinations好呢?

我覺得揀科首要看小朋友將來想入那一間大學和那一科，例如讀law名U喜歡揀一些讀History和political science的學生，你最好到London u等網站research個別科目的收生要求才揀讀那些科目。

另外，如year 10先開始讀外文就不選讀外文，很好學校會因小朋友追不上要你中途強迫你drop了科外文又唔比你轉科以免影晌學校排名。

如你小朋友是想讀理科，就唔好揀double science, 很多排名高的中六學校係唔收double science的學生讀理科，讀double science想中六轉校會有困難。
