我同老公正在為選校而煩惱，可否請大家幫幫忙俾啲意見。

我先生prefer聖心因為覺得他們嘅德育做得較好，而我prefer SPK因我覺得車程較短(只需十分鐘, 聖心要二十分鐘車程)及校舍大。

你們會選那一間呢？

Yipapa Congrat with the happy problem. Larger Compus in SPK is becasue it comprises, 2 KG, Prim & Second, For SH, its second is in Aberdeen. Both are anyway excellent. It is a pick between the Best 2 發表於 12-3-9 18:14

Almost all SPK can go straight to primary and then secondary. SH secondary is still government aided so its primary is no different from any other primary --- a lot of tests and drilling. Both schools are catholic and have bible and moral education. I don't agree the SH girls behave better than the SPC. It is fair to say both schools have different motto. SPC students are trained to be outgoing and open minded while SH is gentle and obidient.

Yes, this is another consideration.

SH has cheap secondary education, but the price to pay is need to fight for a secondary seat.

In my opinion. Both schools are very similar. It is not so much difference as like e.g. St Catherine vs SPK/SHCK.

Those like "active" or "passive" girls are without much evidence (even if really present, is not significant) and just subjective impression of different parents. I won't choose school simply base on this criteria.

Both schools are good. Your girl is lucky to get both. The major difference is primary and secondary; in particular SH secondary is govt subsidized and located in Pokfulam. I think you should consider along this direction.

咁如果較被動嘅小朋友入了 SPK, 會唔會唔適應，學校又唔like, 最後被讙退?

我都想我的囡囡主動啲，如果 SPK 能將我囡囡訓練得主動啲，或最少唔會因為佢性格較被動就放棄佢，就最好了。

Depends on the character of the girl. SPK = more outgoing type. SH = not so outgoing type

我都有此煩惱。大女响聖心畢業，我同意德育好好。但聖保祿既口碑都好好，我又心儀佢既小學、中學

真係唔易揀呢！
不過我相信大部分人都會揀spk...不過SHCK 亦有其優勝之處.....
