真光/ st clare's/ 玫瑰崗

我個女讀緊玫瑰崗PN，讀得好開心，學好多野老師又好，但因爲擔心升小，所以報了真光和st clare's,兩間都收了，點選擇好呢？

真光 AM
St Clare's PM

玫瑰崗的教學和老師真的好好，兩文三語，環境無得頂，但小學麻麻，派位又怕派得不好...
真光的環境都好好，設施齊備，聽講讀得好開心，但係中文小學，而且無校車到我家附近，點算？
St Clare's 近我家，英文中小學，不過校舍好細好舊，聽講越來越大壓力，讀得辛苦，每級得兩班（我prefer大間d學校，見多d人），而且係PM，時間難遷就。

你地會點揀？

i studied at rhs primary school when i was a kid. we used to have like 1o cla ...

oh.....it really declined in the primary school!  What's a big difference than before!

i studied at rhs primary school when i was a kid. we used to have like 1o classes per grade level. it was a big school. now there are only 2 classes per grade and classes are small. it seems like a large proportion of student population are non-chinese speaking students. so i do worry about the chinese language teaching in primary school. and i prefer my daughter to be in a bigger school, seeing more people, more teachers, getting used to a bigger social circle, etc.

請問玫記小學點萎縮?   班數少咗? 定派位差?  灣仔校網都好正, 我以前識嗰D都好多派華仁,皇仁, 鄧肇堅........

謝謝你的資料！我不知道RHS K3是下午班呢。我也喜歡年年統一班主任，因爲現在的老師照顧得很好，我有什麽問題她都會幫我跟進，阿女很喜歡她。玫瑰崗真的就除了升學較麻煩外其他樣樣都好！

我們上年也有一段時候面對同樣的決揀（RHS PN 上NC, 真光下午K1，St Clare上午K1),三間真是各有各好，不如你和老公坐低列出你們心中哪些條件是比較重要，然後再決定：一條龍上小學（TL,St Clare；雖然RHS也可直上私小，但我們不會選擇），Academic (RHS), 中文（TL), 英文(RHS, St Clare），距離，校車/保姆車/自已接送，宗教。
上年我也有考慮RHS的老師是跟學生上的 ie.年年都是同一班主任，另RHS K3全部是下午班；St Clare小學只有兩班其實也有好處，代表學校比賽機會相對較大，有多些exposure.
希望以上可幫助你決定。

實在太難選擇！我好不捨得rosaryhill! 但又覺得留在rosaryhill太risky!

Hi goofybaby,

I understand your point.  If we just want to pick a kindergarten with the best curriculum, I think Rosaryhill is the best choice in HK Island if you want your child to study in a local primary school.  Usually their graduates can do well in primary schools.   And I heard that their graduates can easily get into SH and True Light.  However, it is true that there is no guarantee.  You can regard it as an excellent kindergarten without primary and secondary school.  It is a tough decision.

yipapa，謝謝！請問是否不是學校編的保姆車當日都會去“兜客”呢？因爲學校一早告訴我們，我們這區不會有校車，所以我猜只能找街外的保姆車了...

My daughter is studying in PNC. Most likely, I will switch to other school.
But the language skills from Rosaryhill is really good. Hard choice.

我個囡讀PNF, 考咗三間都唔收, 所以, 都唔打算轉校啦... 老實講, 就算其他學校收咗阿囡, 我都要諗諗... 因為, 我超唔捨得RHS...

我自己都prefer真光多過st clare's，不過我搵不到校車/保姆車！在BK那個校車forum度問，但都無人答到我可以去邊度搵保姆車，真光個forum都一樣無人答。
St clare's 的offer是PM，我真的不喜歡，不過最方便囉。
係呢，都有小朋友讀RHS PN的媽媽們，你地小朋友讀哪一班？你地會轉校嗎？

玫瑰崗 kinder is good. If you target DSS or private schools, your child who received language training in 玫瑰崗 will have the ability to cope with different interviews. If you target government or government aided schools, it all depends on where you live, not the kinder.

我個仔都係玫瑰崗讀PN，同你感覺一樣，學校環境、老師、教學、活動都好好，亞仔返學好開心，又係同你一樣，驚小學派位唔理想。
不過在學校網頁睇又覺得佢地派小學嘅成績都好好，仲好詳細表示在本區獲派頭3個志願、非本區獲派頭3個志願的學生分別為幾多個percent，比起其他學校更清晰，但問親其他人意見，多數都唔會選擇玫瑰崗，其實我都係淨係想亞仔o係玫瑰崗讀幼稚園，小學可以派到其他學校，有冇小朋友讀緊高D班或者剛畢業派到其他小學嘅玫瑰崗媽媽可以俾D意見，謝謝!

其實最重要你住咩區及小朋友的性格,
玫瑰崗 NO WAY, 升中的表現一般.
ST CLARE 我見D小朋友可以寫到好英文,可以話英文底較強.
香真 100%直升小學, 升中情況理想, 50%入讀香真中學, 有30%入讀其他BAND 1 英中(當然係勁個D). 香真D學生比較注重品德, 我都比較鍾意尼點.

你住中區, ST CLARE 及 香真 是二選其一, 我本人對香真比較喜愛. 其實香真D學生英文都唔差,佢小學係私校,英文都唔會差個津校. 升中後香真中學頭十名都係自已小學學生多,比MARYMOUNT入讀香真中學叻D.
