讀緊HKPS Ascot N班轉去st cat 讀K1

如題，囡囡個性活潑，講野叻讀HKPS英粵班都開心的，英文普通話教得很好，且k1能轉上午班，k2又會轉晒英普，好吸引，家長分享大多畢業都升讀沙田好學校。考到st Cat 英粵下午班應否轉呢？名氣大些但很多學生，怕囡囡被忽視，但肯定英文會好，本人想囡囡升讀傳統學校，希望用家可分享一下。

For me I will choose HKPS. My daughter studied in a small school for PN. And change to one famous kindergarden for k1  now. To be honest, I prefer small school. Each child have more attention from teacher. The school atmosphere is warmer, more friendly, just like a big family. HKPS is a high standard kindergarden, is my favorite among all Kowloon tong kindergardens. Unluckly my baby was on waiting list.

Hi all, I was also an SC parent and did not say that it's not good. But comparatively I think HKPS is better. In terms of parent quality. What I referred to was education background and professions. Perhaps I should not have used the word "quality" and caused the misunderstanding. I apologize for that. I did not mean that SC parents were not good as I was one of them before!

唔好咁啦！我出個post 的原意係理性討論及求教，當中有幾個St Cat的家長真心分享，亦認識一些好有質素同低調的st Cat家長，所以不覺得家長有分別，如果係St Cat 英普，都可能會轉，所以每個人的case 都不同，如果我有25分，呵呵，更不用揀一條龍Tim!

吳係SC家長，不過你咁樣一腳踩晒SC 700、800個家長就吳係好合理，有甚麼根據呢？

"quality of parents is much better than that of SC" 我都承認我自己quality差, 而我識幾位 hk preschool既朋友quality真係好..............鍾意踩SC.

雖然我係SC家長, 我都覺得原本讀間果間唔差就唔駛轉去SC, 讀開細校真係唔會鍾意SC係大校. 除咗SC唔會好似細校咁Close咁nice外, SC人多學生同家長質素真係好參差, 如果連呢一點最基本SC既既唔好處都接受唔到, 就唔好考慮SC啦.

My children have studied at SC and HKPS(Kln Tong). If you are soooo lucky to be accepted by HKPS, don't miss the opportunity. It's a very good and competitive school in all aspects. Quality of parents is much better than that of SC. SC is not difficult to enter anyway as there are 700 or 800 students each year.

My own opinion is not changing in K1 because u will change in K2 anyway, the peer group is there with a more solid friendship built.  And the only difference for local stream and int stream in HKPS is only the exposure of PTH, English is the same because the both have NET teacher as one of the class teacher in class.

Thanks for clarifying, but my case was already settled and the discussion will be a reference for this year mum who has the same dilemma.

My son took this science course last year, It costed less than $2500 per term (8 to 10 lessons I forgot).

I was scared too, that was a course something taught in Science in English. I need to verified but my friend told me it is five thousand something for a semester.

SC 週六上一個興趣班要五千幾？我上年都係交二千多咋喎！

眼看朋友及親戚的小朋友 & 大概因大校關係，完全認同無乜優勢的見解，只能說是不過不失吧!! 以本人來看 HKPS 是細校，在照顧 & 學習各方面應較好，加上知道在此校讀書的小朋友 language 方面也很好的。最重要是你女女又讀得開心，又近屋企...好值得留低!! 而論名氣, HKPS 也不弱呢!! 又唔易入...相對應較另一學校難入很好啊 (細校)!!

我之前揀HKPS的原因係K2轉英普及am, 加上小班同課程平均，學校今年公報升小statistic 相信你都看到，有4%入女小拔。而StCat有點商業化，周六上個興趣班要五千幾，reading scheme 原來派回家看就算唔需要present 我個女N班都要同老師討論，做得不好要重看，對於我個女有些規則管下佢較好，樂基課程較嚴謹。而家仲打算返樂基讀興趣班。

我最後send 左退學信給SC，一心留在HKPS，但於六月心儀的龍校給我offer,所以最終又寫退學信給樂基了。我知道我女嗰班最終只有幾個走，龍校根德都有唔覺有SC，但知道有不少有offer都冇揀。
