私人補習

：星期日1：30~3：30~~~~~~~~ 佢想低音大提琴，詠春，跆拳道等，會吾會太多.

是多或少是相对性的, 无话多唔多?  得闲就可以玩多些, 忙就做少些, 完全是丰检由人. 我反而关注学习是否专心和persistent. 正常情况是:

- 八岁开始做Kumon 至中四, 数科必然不错.
- 八岁开始拉低音大提琴至中四, 仲有点音乐修养.
- 詠春，跆拳道等 -  要看孩子的兴趣和能否遇上好师傅,  (有料之师傅少之又少, 极少愿意收徒弟) 如果无好师傅,学十年都无甚得着, 讲多过做, 不如每天跑步. 练体能. 回报高!

只係學其實冇咩用，除非你有奬，唔係學校一般唔會點睇，喺成績方面落多啲功夫好過啦。真係要學一體一藝已足夠。

As vincher said, first ensure they are in Band 1.....

1. Identify the targeted schools;
2. Check their websites and annual reports - student achievements;
3. Identify their strengths and weaknesses;
4. Review your kids standard in (3), and
5. Focus on 1-2 activities and to be very good.

E.g. Your son very good in Chinese musical instrument, you can see DBS's Chinese Orchestra is not as famous as Orchestra, you know they may need more good players in Chinese musical instrument more than pianist and violinists...... Sports even much easier, just check LSC's strengths in sports and you know what DBS search for........ Swimming should be St Jo........

In conclusion, focus on 1-2 is good enough for top elite schools, they look for elites not mediocre or too general......
