各位你們好， 真係唔好彩，心儀嗰間on waiting list, 打咗輸數, 剩番 St Clare's 同 陳守仁. 兩間都幾鐘意, 由期係陳守仁語言好, 但無中學,  唔知中學派位會點，St Clare's 就有附屬中學, 這間都唔錯。所以想請大家有經驗嘅媽媽比D意見比小妹, 真係15，16，唔知點？

未試過升中痛苦既, 吾會知道無直屬/聯繫中學的苦況
陳守仁係有好好的語言環境, 同埋好TOP 的學生, 會比D 好好的直資中學取錄
但自己去看下, 可以升讀好好的直資中學的學生有幾多個? (只計傳統出名直資), 你自問自己的仔女, 可吾可以做到呢10幾20個優秀的學生其中之一?

ST CLARE 勝在, 猛車邊BAND 2 頭的女仔, 都可以升讀返ST CLARE, 衰極, 都係英中

如果到時讀ST CLARE 成績好, 一樣可以比D 優秀直資中學取錄
進可攻, 退可守

叻的學生, 去到邊, 都可以好叻, 只要校風好

CKY是一間好的中小學, 提供一個好的學習環境, 而且小班教學, 係個度讀書的學生個個都好SMART, 最重要是一條龍.....
至於, TSL都是一間不錯的小學, 不過沒有一條龍, 到小六又再頭痛, 都好麻煩, 你想一想吧.......!

This is what I am thinking of as well. Of course, it will depend on the registration status on how many "Offer" students decide to go to other school and give up CKY place which I hope I am on of the lucky one to get an offer for my kid. Seriously, there are a lots of X factors involved and what I can do now is to sit and wait. I heard a case from last year that one student gave up hope on CKY, buy all the uniforms, books, school bus...etc for the other school, spend alomost $10K and ready to start at the other school. 4 days before school start, CKY called in and offer a place for her kid......

I agree with 哈比 that St. Clare's, 進可攻, 退可守. It is not easy for TSL to tie to a band 1 secondary school for the coming six years.

Hi 哈比: Yes, this is exactly what I think as well after hear all information and advices from different people. Seriously, Childern competing on positions for secondary school are already very tuff these days and imagine what will happen in another 6 years. Just comparing this year vs 2-3 years ago on primary school places are two different stories and will get more and more tuff on the upcoming years. feel sorry for the kid these days.

冇錯! 你個情況係, 只得兩間可以選擇 (TSL vs St. Clare's)....

個人覺得, St. Clare's, 進可攻, 退可守,  如你囡囡叻叻, 可插其它更好小學..
同埋,中西區中學好過油尖旺區...

而TSL升中係 uncertainly...

當日很高興St. Clare's 都收咗我囡囡, 最可惜要放棄大抽獎...
幸好,有另一間中西區收咗, 亦有中學feeder...

我始終覺得, 有中學backup, 心理上安全得多....

I see. Thanks for your information. But the question is I only have 2 choices between TSL vs St Clare's for primary school. If I choose St Clare;s and if my kid can achieve good results in the next 6 years, I still have St Clare's secondry school as a backup and still can apply for the good secondary school in the same district "中西區". My husband and I really like TSL and is cheaper too, but no secondary gets us worry!.

Hi TB,

Actually, I just quoted some of them for reference. I don't know much about PLK Ngan Po Ling College. All I know it's related to PLK. But if you live near TSL, it's a good school for you w/economical fees. I'm still thinking about it, but it's too far for me.
