actually, 2 secondary schools will move to Wanchai too. Forget the names. So, for NPGS, it is good.

16 seats for 3 govt school. bad news to two Hennessy Road. But still good to Noint Point. last year, NP have 2 seats only for QC only.

As of last year, there are only 16 nominated seats to be shared by two Hennessy Road Gov't Schools.  Adding NP Gov't will only increase competitions to this tiny pool.

For the remaining 51 open places, it's up for grab for any boys studying in Wanchai.  It's not exactly like what you think.

yes, you can say that.  Except that there is a small buffer of one seat per class where each school can reserve for P.1 repeaters.  So for those cases which I indicated "Normal" means those seats may not transfer to Central allocation.

I am sorry but seems you are mixing a few different issues together.

Anyway, for the concern of dis-continuation of the feeder and nominated systems, the current proposal is to keep the system, as mentioned in the news as following:

For the case of St. Clare's, as their primary school is a private school, they would remain a private school.  EDB rarely will allow any private schools to change to aided anymore in these days.

That means the number of younger siblings applying to the school has exceeded the 30% quota predefined and so seats reserved for central allocation needs to be reduced to make room for these additional applicants.
