其實，APS面試題目唔深，面試完，好多小朋友都話識答晒。
困難的是怎樣從眾多答得好的考生抽出取錄生。

I have collected the interview questions from Babykingdom and some magazines such as 親子王 etc, and practised the questions with her.  

For spelling of the words, I have chosen 70-80 simple words and made it a game and played with her 2 months before the interview.  

For maths addition and subtraction, my daughter has learned Kwik Maths since June 2010 and she manages to do simple maths questions.     

For English, I have added extra materials to my daughter.  I have taught her the word cards of "English Times" which bought few years ago for my elder daughter.  And she has also attended phonics class outside.
           
And I have asked my daughter and she said she responded politely in the interview and she have said "thank you" when she received the candy from the teacher.  She guessed that it was the reason she was offered the place.

Thx very much for your detailed reply and your daughter really did an excellent job!!
For P1 music class, I knew from a friend that it is recommended to have parent to sit-in the after-school music lesson so you will know what your kid learns. I believe school has an effective way to make your child love music!!

2 more questions about how you train your girl for the interview:
1) how do you close the gap between school syllabus and interview questions? Questions like spelling and maths addition and subtraction are not taught by the kindergarten.
2) how to you foster her English? Did you teach her by yourself?

To play safe, I ve called aps to ask if student can be still allowed by school for lucky draw once accepting the offer, and she replied (Ms Ho of general office) yes! FYI

其實phonics分班時考得唔理想都有著數，因為根據過往安排，那一班上phonics堂時會有兩位英文老師小班教學，希望做到補底，特別是這類需要較多老師關注個別學生進度的科目。

明天註冊冇特別，俾錢取收據走得。但係記住七月有最重要嘅新生家長日，因為小朋友要見樂器導師分樂器學，同八月新生適應日考phonics分班（記住唔係精英班）但係舊年要等到六月先知確實日期，所以如果計劃旅行就要小心。

Hi,原來你也跟我一樣，要在兩間選其一..我女兒也是在外學了半年RWI，現學pink bk,我也很喜歡APS有這課程在內呢！

想問一下APS的家長，
音樂方面，請問鋼琴會計算在內嗎？
看到很多家長也說校長和老師都很nice和有責任心，
英和數的課程也很有保證，但很小人提及中文課程，
請問中文是全普教的嗎？

Congratulations to those got the offer of APSKT!  Believe me, you wont's be regret to let your kids to study in APSKT.  

I want to share my experience : when my "Little One" was young and fighting for a seat in primary one, I only got the offer from KTS but no any letter from APSKT.  Actually, I missed the offer letter of APSKT and also the registration date.  Fortunately, the office staff of APSKT called me to clarify whether I would decline the offer.   So, I think that everything is being arranged (may be the God even I don't have any religious) and we just follow the track.   My "Little One" has just already graduated from APSKT, he didn't show any interest of music when he was in the kindergarten even now, but he already passed the Grade 8 of his learning musical instrument.

有妹妹，兩間都冇中學；
間津校可自行接送但咁早返學帶住兩個有難度！活動教學見稱但中學派位比較神秘！
我同老公冇樂器特長但我哋全家都好喜歡音樂！講真我哋冇期待APS收佢因都唔知佢是否受谷？！個人最欣賞APS非常重視信仰！
