SSCPS update for parents still waiting

I am still waiting for the result, please share if you receive waiting, offer or even reject letter after the latest registration date on Dec 12.
Does anyone who has rang up to school and checked the progress.
Anyone who got any relative NEWS?

I think SSCPS has already called parents to fill up vacancy. May be only a few few few seats before September. Depends on how many parents giving up the G1 seat.

My friend's daughter has been on waiting list before and got the seat in mid-January, right before CNY. Good luck to all of you who are still waiting for the seats!

If 3 girls give up their places at SSCPS, 3 girls will replace their places. Not the boys, because each class 16/17 girls/boys, balance.

I know of at least 3 girls with DGJS offers who will give up their places at SSCPS, probably around early Jan once their registration at DGJS is confirmed.  So stay hopeful and good luck!

I don't think it's related to waitlist priority, we got the 'C' after our application number as well.

I guess that means 'Cantonese' group? We got second in and got an offer at last.

Hi Che,

We received waiting list letter (have 2nd in) and noted that there's a letter "C" after the application no. Do u have any idea if this represented some sorts of priority in waiting ? In view that people has paid $6XXX to reserve the place, seems we can only wait until July next year ? (in fact the letter said waiting is valid till Oct 2012)

Did you write any letter to Ms. Wai. From my experience, I wrote 2 -3 letters after inerview and fews more after receiving the waiting list result. However, my child did not get the seat at last, but I try my best. If you really like the school, you can keep trying.I hope you can have good news soon . Keep trying

I think this should be the first batch waiting list letter, as I said before the earlier you got the waiting letter, the higher yr kid was ranked. So please keep your phone on and make sure answer all incoming call. Just a friendly remind.
