我上星期六interview, reception已講明上午班已full左, 問我考不考慮下午班, 我話好, 然後今日收到封信話我已被列入後備, 叫我填form肯定繼續輪候, 但又話而家有下午班空位, 如果有興趣, 就交留位費, 咁即係總之肯交留位費就有得讀下午班? 係咪當日interview的人都到一樣的信?

Don't worry.  As the school is non-government subsidized for K1, I think many parents will change to government subsidized school for future after $$ consideration...

其實我都係舊年4月先報民生pn,但都有同年8月開學am offer.

Not I did not get the letter even for interview yet!! I once called, they asked me to wait until Feb or March, was it meant no chance??

Besides, the class ratio is very different.  the ratio in Man Sang is better than KCS.

The most famous thing of KCS is their Mandarin oriented education. If this is your cup of tea, KCS is the best choice for you.

It depends on your preference between Cantonese or Mandarian.  The class of Man Sang is conducted in Cantonese and English, and the class of KCS is conducted in Mandarin and English.

My son was born in Dec 2010, we still not receive the interview letter yet,
it that meant ?? No Chance for PN this year??

I had applied their PG, is that helpful to get in their PN class?

我個女都係讀民生PN, 佢每日返學都好開心, D老師都好有愛心, 會打電話俾你同你傾番小朋友嘅上堂情況, 而亞女又真係學到嘢, 返到屋企仲識唱好多歌俾我地聽...如果你唔介意呢間係私校同唔係一條龍, 都係一個好嘅選擇!!

I don't know any "new immigrant" classmates in my girl's class.  However, even I went to the K1 interview at Victoria this year, there is also many parents speaking mandarin.  And even I went to submit application form at Sacred Heart in early Dec, there are also many parents speaking mandarian.  I think this is due to the mainlanders baby boom in Hong Kong.  More and more Hong Kong born mainlanders queue up for any reputable kindergarten in Hong Kong.

我女女開始讀民生時未開始戒片，老師都話唔駛急，學校其實會幚小朋友戒， 家長係屋企配合就okay, e.g. 定時定候去坐potty

另外, 我在第二個post見你寫你個女在學校有人教佢去toliet, 其實我in民生時個老師問我bb戒左片未, 我心諗15個月大bb邊有可能咁快戒片, 我想問下你女女開始讀民生時戒左片未? 如果未, 係咪老師教小朋友戒片? 點幫佢戒呢?

其實如果諗住一心會大抽獎，讀邊間幼稚園嘅機會係一樣，如果唔介意要比學費，北角民生都係一間唔錯嘅學校，對比起其他有名又難入嘅幼稚園，佢地亦投放左好多資源，都唔會差好多，並唔係咁多幼稚園可以安排到每一日有1.5hr英文，有時仲會單對單同英文老師上堂同做評估，我阿女呢座大冰山經過左2.5個月後都已經被溶化啦，每日返學由上樓梯開始已經feel 到佢係好開心呢！
