Pls. help: Victoria vs. St. Clare

女女而家讀緊屋企附近嘅Victoria K1 am.  今年主攻one dragon school再考 (上年全轟覆沒, 可能08/10細b), 直到現時為止, 只有St. Clare PM K2 offer, 即將會有 Scared Heart, St. Paul, St Stephen, SKH interviews.

我女女係個坐唔定的小朋友, 專注力又差, 係而家的學校, 都算開心, 不過擔心將來考小學的競爭, 想轉到one dragon school.  但係而家讀緊的Victoria都算好學校, 只不過沒有connected Primary School, 有d十五十六.  

請幫忙.  謝謝.

我本人好唔贊成啲人成日話Victoria啲學生坐唔定,  My son study there and from my observation the students there are very discipline, 好乖, 好守秩序, 有禮貌 and "無坐唔定", 以下是我對此校的意見:


My son studies there for a few months only and his language and presentation skill are getting better and better with great improvement than he studied in his old school before.
I don't know how this school trains my son but he seems got a big improvement in his self-confidence. He enjoys doing presentation in front of many people which he was scare before...The teachers there are all very kind and responsible and organized and the admin management of this school is super good - also super organized.
The school fee I paid to this school is very worth. Besides, in many cases I heard, Victoria's students are easily to be accepted by many famous primary schools like DBS, 喇沙, 聖保祿(跑馬地), St. Stephen..., etc and these Victoria students all got no studying problems when promoted to these well-known primary schools.
I think 它的小學"含"接 shouldn't be a problem and most of the Victoria's students are fluent in English and Mandarin speaking which I think it is a very big advantage when doing primary schools interviews. I will continue to let my son study in Victoria in K2 & K3.

若果有傳聞話傳統學校不喜歡坐不定的小孩。可以肯定的是坐定的小孩不是這些學校教出來的，而是這些小孩天生就是坐定定的。我個人認為我會為小孩選適合她而又快樂的學校。我也剛為兒子放棄了一所有小學為後盾的幼稚園。

I know a friend with an active girl, who preferred to leave St Clare kg after 1 school semester, because the teachers there did not accept active child very well. For your reference only, I don't really know St Clare.

hello 5162002, both SH and St. Clare's are very good school.  It's comparing St. Clare's K2 vs SH K1.   If St. Clare's already admit for K2, it's no point to repeat K1 again at SH.

SH 唔收K2新生，我相信pauline係幫女女報SH K1 做超大b, 但如果 St. Clare's 收讀K2, 本人認為無必要要小朋友repeat K1，St. Clare's 同 SH 都係好學校。 以上只是本人淺見。

佢睇電視/聽故事會唔會坐定定/好專心一段時間? 如果會, 應該唔係 over-active.

St. Clare 收得你個女, 唔多唔少都覺得佢適合先收, 所以讀唔讀睇你取向

Thanks for your advice.  Yes, I am also worrying that she is over-active, and has arranged an evaluation with 協康會, but not yet confirmed the date.  If an evaluation will be taken in early next year, then i will take this for my reference to choose the school.

都係嘅，其實咁細個好難講，大大下小朋友又會變， Victoria都係one dragon school, 活動教學，小朋友會讀得開心.  

傳統學校都好，如果St. Clare收咗K2就唔駛小朋友 in SH repeat K1啦

我諗Victoria的教法你應很清楚，你是否認為Victoria可改善小朋友坐唔定及專注力 ？坐唔定及專注力對你來說是否重要？

其實想請教大家值唔值得由Victoria 轉去St. Clare? 抑或等到K2開始訓練佢考小學?
