加拿大回香港報讀小一, 各媽媽可否給我意見, 報選本地主流或国際學校呢 ?

我仔仔只可以說一半中文及一半英文, 無論全部中文/英文問題, 他都是不可以完全明白, 或用單一語文回答的, 因為我們在家是說中文, 由於在學校是說英文的,有些中文意思,他是不明白及不懂的, 但是他的英文程度仍然是在很基本的對話, 有時不知如何用英文回答.....

請各媽媽給意見 !!

Thank you for your suggestion.

I will prepare some reference letter from his pre-school in Cananda before going back to HK.

Does your son enjoys the school life in HK ? He speaks Cantonese or English mostly ? My son likes to speack English,but he will speak Cantonese to me. Besides, he can speak Japanese a bit. So how is Japanese international school in Tai Po one ? Pls. comment.

我仔好叻,好聰明,但他不喜歡香港的迫近學習方式,不過全部大小朋友都不喜歡迫...

你的小朋友可以接受到香港主流學校生活... 你有否問他喜歡香港學校生活嗎 ?

我一直擔心全中文或香港口音的英文,他是很難接受的.
但國際學校學費很貴,仿且在玩中學習,可以迎合香港大學的機會很微??我諗..唯一是可以說流利英語?!

我們現在仍在加拿大,很煩的一個問題...

中/英文,他都可以閱讀及寫字的, 當然需要有時從旁提醒.

I agree kids can pick up languages quickly (on the oral side) but local mainstream curriculum is intense and it is not easy even for some local kids, imho.

啟思小學（九龍塘牛津道）是好選擇之一。

No need to worry too much. Kids learn language very fast. My kid did not know Chinese till he was 3. Less than 2 months in school and we started talking to him at home, he managed to understand the meaning 80%. Now he masters both English and Chinese very well. The most important thing to select primary is to suit his characters.

何不先入讀 K 3 ，因中英數都同樣

e+本地主流學校開始用334,如有可能將來出國,我都suggest 行ib的學校會safe d,因為5知外國大學會點睇hk exam 成績

wkf 和 tsl, 雖然好多人公認佢地英文好,但我去過開放日就覺得hong音好重.

WKF is more like the traditional HK's main stream school.

I think within 3, CKY and Logos will match your target more, of course, like others said, u can consider TSL (陳守仁) etc, as their multi-culture environment.. Detail of each school u can click the field 小學一覽, or browse previous link, as those are quite popular schools (private / DSS)
