我是一個爸

仲有兩年前並唔係冇競爭，想入邊間就邊間，舉一個例子，其間間學校情況差唔多，某直資由兩年前2000-3000人申請，到今年3000-4000人申請，競爭係大左，但當年都係要十幾個先揀一個。
所以我只會覺得妳朋友的小朋友都好叻仔叻女。

＂幸福年"?仲有朋友＂專登＂揀呢年生？咁講未必太計算喇。妳宜家睇返轉頭或者可以咁講，但當年點解出生率咁低？SARS後冇人敢買樓，淘大E座最平跌到50幾萬，黃埔5百至6百呎嘅樓都係百多萬，宜家睇係咪好低？低到爛啦。點解我咁清楚？因為當時我係有份去睇樓而冇膽買嘅其中一人，經濟差，好多人驚買得起都供唔起，又驚失業，仲點敢生仔吖。
所以＂危機＂這二字嘅真諦，係先有＂危＂，你克服到＂機＂自然來。

但TT星期六個英語加油站同普通話生活坊都係免費架喎。。。

我宜家都考慮係TT (PM主流) VS STAFFORD (AM). 兩間教學模式唔同, 真係好難比較. 個人十分欣賞STAFFORD係小班教學, 同學習語言環境. TT 學校環境及配套好吸引.而且學費好平.  如果選左STAFFORD 應該不用加學術性的活 ...

叻咩吖，普普通通咁啦，佢宜家間學校就好多叻仔，佢係中間果浸，ok啦。
我個仔嗰時冇係出面學好多嘢，剩係游水我要佢學嘅，起碼跌落水都唔駛人救吖。另一樣係上EQ班，咁等佢情緒好啲。其他都係學校嘅drama，science workshop咁啦。

I am SC parent, my daughter is studying K2 this year.  She loves SC and I think the teachers are very good even they have 600 students.  My daughter is very happy to go to school and come back happily.  Indeed, we have support her to learn maths, PTH and English outside but the fundamental teaching from SC is great.  I believe most of the parents will send the children to outside studies even they are not studying in SC.  I have a friend who send her son to 8 classes for preparing P1 battle.... is all depends on where the parents want the children to study in P1.  I am glad that SC accept my girl last year even she is small girl.

對我黎講，SC 係好嘅選擇，但佢地始終有太多班，其他班嘅情況唔太清楚，都係果句，家長跟足啲，小朋友見人多啲，唔怕醜的話，一定比較著數。

我兒讀緊DBSPD，佢果年果班升P幾好架，同班仲有一個男仔入左DBSPD，幾他有啲SPCC，YW，DGJC，SFA，KTS，LS....我個仔都係細仔班，係雅息士道嗰邊返，佢果班得20人。
不過我果年出生率無咁高，所以競爭可能細啲，宜家出生率逐年回升，到妳地小朋友時可能比較辛苦了。

round1: 自行 = 任何區都可以?只可報1間心儀小學﹖按分數高低取錄﹖

round2:大抽獎

round3:叩門

早幾日的派位是否round1?
如果可以考，是否早於round1?  可以不限考幾 ...

If money is not a problem, of course sf, creative curriculum is famous to be too easy for difficult tradidtional primary.

All along I don't think York has any problem. Yes, it is commercial and rather expensive, but it is selling good quality curriculum and language environment. He sells you buy, fair enough. Commercial does not mean poor attitude or poor quality.

If you study creative but want to prepare your child to apply for difficult primary schools, spending money for ENG/PTH/MATHS tutuition after hours is another big sum of money.

I appreciate York prepares the children for the Cambridge english exam in their curriculum, save parents money to attend further english courses outside. The ECA are all quite good.

(I am not York parent, just want to give some fair comments)
