The principal didn't guarantee 75 seats for Ramondi primary school. It's just an example.
Students still have to apply for the primary school and go to the interview. It's just students from Ramondi kindergarten has priority than the others if both got the same marks.
I haven't heard this during my briefing session. In the session I attended, the principal said that there are 180 K1 students and there are 150 P1 places, the primary school cannot accept all of them.
However, even if this is the case, it is better than other kindergarten. I know people from all those famous ones like SKH and St Paul Church. They told me that quite some of them don't get one single offer from any private or DSS schools either. 我認為有若干優先都好過無。
If your kid is a girl, there are a lot of other kindergartens that have primary schools for backup. But if yours is a boy, it is the only choice in HK Island that provides a better chance for you to enter a band 1 primary school.
