谢谢你的提醒！反正现在都应该没有位置了，都要等到明年，看看到时候怎样吧。刚刚在荷花亲子看到亲子便利选了岭南直小为全港Top10中第十位的直资小学，应该是这学校质素的认证吧，但不知道它是根据什么标准做出这个排名。无论如何，我都会把岭南直小放在心仪名单上。

if not in a hurry, of course you can wait until next year after the school publishes the allocation results.  however, if the allocation results are good, there will be a lot more applications for transfer.  That means the competition will become more fierce.  Since the school has limited space in each form (about 50-60 or so?), it will be more difficult to get in, imo.

我所指的学习是学校课本的学习，他还是喜欢阅读，但做完6-10样功课和其他学校要求的东西后，加上乐器，运动，剩下的时间有限，而且传统学校的模式，都是要很乖乖的坐下来，听老师讲课，活动都应该有，但较少。儿子都觉得上课沉闷，但上学可以跟同学玩，他也因此喜欢上学。
我主要是选基督教的学校，另一方面，我个人认为，新一批的直资学校，小学都办得不错，但中学不见得很好，所以即使有中学衔接，都不是非常吸引的事。我反而在意小学的德育培养，和学业程度是否可以跟外面学校的程度相比，是的话，要考进其他Band One 学校都可以。当然，基于这段时间的经历，就更希望学校是可以启发学生的学习兴趣，不是一味谷。

學習是漫漫長路, 才2年班, 已對學習感乏味, 這問題的確需正視. 有沒有和班主任了解過? 他有什麼建議呢?

沙田大圍也有些一條龍+活動教學, 為什麼不考慮呢? 很近你啊~

所以我反而想看看岭小的毕业生凭自行和叩门，可以有多少进到Band One 学校。
我相信儿子要维持在全级头50%的话，应该有可能，但整个过程，是不是对他的学习，见识，品格培养等等是最好呢，我也不知道，只知道现在的功课，默书，测验，考试等等，都已经令到他对学习很感乏味。

你的其他選擇也是較活動教學, 也有升中記錄. 正如你上述的分析, 受制於現行制度, 嶺小頭兩至三年的派位很大可能不反映真正成績, 即是你再等半年看升中結果, 也未必等於可看到真實嶺小程度. 你有參加上次的課程簡介會嗎? 有沒有比較過嶺小與現有學校程度上的分別?

你現校有50%的升band one rate, 真的很不錯, 你囝囝是否在學校排名一半以上? 是的話, 又確實頭痛.

Me too...我個女1年級開學幾個月咋，我都係傳統學校，有小小想轉，但係真需要大量勇氣，因要放棄一條龍^_^

我们都有考虑真道，启基，启思，甚至方方国际。但在这些学校中，衡量各种因素，都觉得岭南直资小学最切合我们的需要，唯一令我们不放心的就是升中派位。

现在儿子读的津贴学校，Band One 百分比都接近50%，又是在沙田区，本来是不错，但读了这1.5年，觉得传统学校的教育实在是令到学生和家长觉得很厌烦又无奈，但要离开却需要勇气，所以现在都只是在研究研究，要肯定了方向，才踏出新的一步。当然，你选学校，学校也选你，所以这个过程真的令人劳累。

請問有沒有家長，子女是插班進到這間學校的呢？插班的考試是筆試加面試？筆試困難嗎？我的兒子是在沙田傳統 ...

猴子爸, 你講得非常對!!!!  雖然我地未知升中成績, 但認同嶺小教學理念, 覺得小朋友品格培養是同樣重要, 對老師亦有信心!

我連學校都還沒contact… 已經有插班生？那可能我要等到三年級了，但那也好，可以等到學校的升中派位成績出來，有參考了，再作打算。

I believe all new primary schools receive this standard secondary school allocation % during the first 1 or 2 years.  Famous schools like Diocesan Preparatory School in Kowloon Tong also suffer from this arrangement. In 2011 it was the first year when DPS got its allocation result. Based on the info on the forum, it was less than satisfactory and a lot of parents were very upset.  Yet, the graduates were trying to "knock on the door" and some of them should be able to get a seat at some good secondary schools as their academic standard is actually quite high.  It is very likely that the same would happen to Lingnan Primary School.  Hopefully its graduates can be well equipped to get into good schools by their own efforts and based on the good performance at the school interviews/entrance exam, even though the "assigned" band 1% won't be too high.
I've attended this school's briefing session.  I tend to believe that this school is very down to earth and the team consists of good qualified teachers with pure hearts to educate the children.  I wish their graduates good results on the secondary school allocation in 2012.
