九龍塘英藝好唔好? 國際班定主流班?

請問funful條路比較好走係什麼意思?我有對衡道funful及九龍塘英藝offer，九月細B，但擔心方方英文好似冇咁好，英藝新及好似有D負面消息，唔知點揀

Thanks a lot for your readiness to help!

I am a believer of both Chi and Eng (PTH not necessary to me at kinder stage).  We speak Chi only at home but teach him Eng materials every day.  My philosphy is to train him up manner and discipline and basic values during age 2 (PN class), and focus more on language training starting age 3 (K1).   

Since he's a super small b (Dec), we don't have much choice on PN.  But I chose Funful on the assumption that it's more traditional and should be able to teach better discipline and manner comparing with other international kinders (we got Yew Chung offer but I gave that up).  As I want him to learn chi also, so i chose PN local full day class.  Most probably he will change to other English based kinder in K1.  However, i am a bit worried that if he can catch up in English in K1 if his PN training is Chinese based.  That's why i asked the questions before.

Our initial hope is to send him to a DSS / private primary if he cannot get accepted in reputable govt subsidied primary.  Parents can speak English well but we are very typical HongKongese and wish to communicate with him in mother toughe.  

What do you think about our plan? and any advice on the study path?

方方int'l class英文不過不失, 但唔好expect一個兩三歲小朋友可以單從學校學到好多野, 尤其是語言, 就算你揀whole day class都一樣, 下午的時間是午睡然後重溫一下當天的日程, 課業上沒有優勢, 但你提到的紀律自理獨立性...等一定有幫助的.

看你著重eng環境, 那麼在家在校一定要配合先得.
唔知你小朋友係幾月b, 另外家庭成長環境是否多用英語? 日後打算讀咩小學? 你俾多少少資料我再給你一些意見分享啦.

Mind if you could elaborate more the pros and cons of funful PN class in Kowloon Tong?  Thanks.  We got a whole day offer but i worry that the English standard is not up to par?  I chose whole day at the beginning because hope to train him better discipline and independence, but since we want bb to to study K1 with better English environment, I am worried that there may be too big a gap in between.  Kindly give your comments? thx.

唔好太快諗repeat, 需知道你想做超大B但不是所有K校都接受超大B的, 明白嗎?
如今2011-12有得讀, 去左讀先. 又不妨in定2012-13 k1入學的心儀k school.

for nursery offers again next year 2012-13 (as my baby was borned in Nov so i am planning to let him repeat nursery again next year), I only have Creative Tsing yi am class offer.

因各人要求及取向不同, 我的意見請只作參考
1. 你的2選1包括zenith, 因此校不是我杯茶, 我會揀地區村校都不會選它.
而其實救世軍都是爭崩頭校之一, 活動教學, 同樣有3語(eng, ctn, pth)環境, 也同樣pth不是學拼音, 那我會揀平學費及校齡久(話晒救世軍大機構). 提多一提, 好多小學唔知zenith是什麼, 日後touchwood派P唔理想要扣門或想搞珠前過自行收生那關易d, 幼稚園校長寫的推薦信就見真章.  P校唔係只睇內容點讚個小朋友, 因為好多私校收得你貴學費都已包埋寫信呢part, 但有名如ST CAT./ KV係唔會寫得過份離譜, 外面是知那些學校對自己講野負責任的. 故大機構這點都有著數(除非你同個校長有親), 否則人地唔會為左幫你一個搞垮成個集團

(以下我是假設你PN及K都讀同一間)
Stafford vs. Greenfield?
>>Greenfield仲有退路讀傳統P校, Stafford就好國際
Funful vs. SKH 聖基道?
>> 聖基道係咪kwai chung果面? if yes, 完全兩個type. funful學費貴, 但入得到去讀, 質素有保證. 聖基道應平實些, 但學生群可能就是附近居民, 同區質素如何理必如何

KM vs. 基督教中心?
>> 唔了解基督教中心, 會prefer KM, 因佢教學理念我都buy

Victoria vs. York?
>> 一樣咁西化, 但會揀Victoria, 最多K再試下考另一間. York出名易收, 如再去in K時, 人地知你York出來都會有所想法, 但V仔雖然都commerical, 但都唔係話入就入, 佢要求都唔低的. 如無錢的考慮V仔有P有S接住上, 讀得上係好出色的.

For N1 class, I now have 2 offers but both are not really good but still have to choose one. Would  like to know how you would make such choice.
