I have same feeling, those helpers just read the English follow with A4 pre-written contents, not really speak and never answer the question, they seesm not really understand the question or they don't want to answer. so I am not sure whether they have a good english level or not.. one is P2 and another P4
My daughter was very happy after the interview. But she did not have any magnet or sticker. She said there was no english or putonghua. All in cantonese. The teacher just used the mic to ask four maths questions, then they wrote the answers. Then she drew a picture of a flower and wrote her english name on it. After that she went to a playroom with slide, swing and a bouce. That's all she could tell me. So different from the others.
poohngai, cheer up! There is a long way to go not only in this crazy primary school application, but also a long long life journey! Perhaps, when we look back in 20 years, the crazy things we and our kids facing today is very minor.
Everybody don't give up!
