小一生點先可以學好英文?

小朋友剛升上小一,同佢默書佢要學好耐先識個句點默。但只係指句中既一D生字佢又唔識...  而且佢好心散,成日專心唔到..可以點樣改善???

Phonics 係有用，不過睇你好吾好釆，我大仔好多年前係一間比較出名嘅Jxxx  Kxxx度學，真係好好，諗住細仔去番同一間啦，可能而家做大咗，好似冇以前甘好，故然我細仔係發夢個隻，但係次次手冊剩係叫我同佢溫，成年後吾好話串，連個cat字都吾識讀，嚇死我,你話係吾係得個吉呀
因為大仔學過，我知道phonics係有用嘅，係有冇心教同方法。

唯有再試其他，有兩個仔之前嘅經驗，今次問得好清楚，直頭教材都要睇睇，用乜方法教到拼音，點先可以幫到寸字，新嗰個centre 解釋得好清楚，吾係求叫你參加就算，佢都好坦白，話我個仔比較吾專心(好左我都接受到佢嘅批評）叫我上d 2至3人班，咁點到try啦，而家，好多字都讀到，佢而家k3 我開始試佢默書，佢雖然慢d 都開始串到學過嘅生字，同埋開始肯睇英文書。
教育嘅嘢，真係最緊要有heart .而家d centre 一大左就keep吾到d quality

My son learnt phonics for 1 year, I think it is useful to help him for spelling, you can try it.

Here are the ways I used:

1) ask the kid to play out the english class process, he/she is the teacher, I am the student.. They enjoy the games and they speak up, in their english teachers' tone, that's fun!!

2) read the short stories every day, tune to their standard, too many difficult words will kill their interest, so it's a challenge to find suitable and interesting books

3) while reading, I will revise the phonics the kids learned in the past, applied to the reading.., e.g. remind them the sound of "at" in "That", underline the difficult words in books and read the book the whole week, with the same book.. of course, some kids have faster reading ability, then, you just introduce the books, they will go with that themselves...but still insist reading every night when they were small.

Try individual english teacher, not that good, put them into an english speaking environemtn with kids all speak english will be better than individual tutoring...

Don't give up, insist and take a caring heart, your kids will learn with their own pace and will give you surprise one day. Do not compare with other kids. I have two kids, they have a total different kid of learning patterns and pace, learn from them I know that God probably is fair (though I am not believing in any god) to all kids and all kids deserve a respect to their learning pace and lovely hearts!!

唔好用默書做first approach
試下同佢玩遊戲學英文，例如唱d好笑/易上口既簡單英文歌，讀簡單英文書俾佢聽搞下笑做埋動作等等。你要慢慢黎唔好急，當然其實最方便係搵1on1tutorial，不過唔好輕視自己既工作

Probably you can read the interesting story with him, the story be selected by him, and match with the VCD you select, to link them together!!

learn phonics, when you read the story, try to link up the knowledge from phonics. Choose a book more easire to start..

Try the ladybird, Peter and Jean series, easy to grasp for starting young readers, easy to get satisfaction with long paragraph, but easy to learn words!!

我係嚮"香港導師會"搵的, 外國人, $400一小時, 你可以參考下.

好唔好唔知呀, 無搵過第二D無compare過. 進步左算係OK卦. 至少無咁"唔鐘意"/"怕"英文, 肯講下, 有信心D.

之前我仔仔又係見到外國人就飛到好遠/避開, 而家迫佢要一對一, 無得走, 佢似乎習慣了.

比較好的方法, 係搵單對單的英文老師補習.
係貴, 但work好多架!
我個仔又係白日夢果D, 我搵左一對一, 一個星期一次, 每次一個鐘.
補左around半年, 覺得係進步左.

同意以上各位的講法，但講到最尾，所有學校（包括啲超級名校）都是成績行先。至於課外活動要貴精不貴多，但要根據孩子的性格，好似小兒很喜歡說話，他現時就學辯論學説話。對將來interview都有幫助。而且大部份中學都有辯論校隊。

我細仔4 歲, 暑假上左幾星期native speaker playgroup 後, 識講simple complete sentence. 其實英文比中文容易, 要多聽+多說!
