SC 唔谷呵, SC 去傳統好多功課的小學未必會有好出色的表現, 同埋好多SC 家長都唔係target 係傳統官津名校, 所以唔見得有咩trend 睇我估..

記得小朋友入不到此兩校不代表.....讀書不佳, 以後條路不好行, 如為了此句, 不如做家長努力一下打破其他人說法.

For my daughter's school , KLN one of government  famous girl school, P.5 most SC  kids are in the top 40  in 120 pupils.
But still small amount SC kids do not have good result .
Indeed , SC is a good  kindergarten .

睇返個小朋友本身, 佢讀唔讀到書都唔係淨係學校既責任嚟既, 而家比佢讀邊間都唔知對佢有冇幫助架, 係我哋以自己既認知判斷能力幫佢揾間家長覺得好既kinder啫.

在班的頭幾名，已分別轉了校了。小女是其中一個，所以不知宣小3/4年級的情況。小女的成績和以前差不多，但不知其他同學是讀甚麼幼稚園了。

I agree both are gd KGs but I bet their parents have paid a lot of effort and $$$ for extra training too (the same happens in many famous primary sch)!!!
And I believe in long run, whether a child will stand out academically in sec sch / uni depends very much on his own potential (in-born), learning attitudes and motivations in learning. And there are sooooo many other external factors affecting their academic performance when they've grown up!

小女當年在讀宣小P1時，該班的上、下學期前五名，學生不是畢業於KV，便是St.Cat了。這個現象在其他學校都有發生。

但不是全部在這雨畢業的學生都考在前面，約一半是在中游位置。

I beleive it all depends on the kids more than the kindergarten.  Or course, the KG set a good foundation can help.  A true story while it is talking about 20-30 yrs ago.  I graudate from KV and my two brothers from St. Cat.  All three of us got into top tier girl and boy school in the kowloon side.
Well, while i graudated from KV, I only ranked mid teen's in class from P1 to P6!  My two brothers, 1 ranked top 10 in every yr and other other one ranked 20's to 30+ in primary school.  So.., all depends on the child!  
As a parents, just pick one that you think is more susitable for your kids!

我所認識的kv畢業生，小一二的成績確係幾好，但慢慢又退返落黎
sc 識好少，大多都係話小一做功課都有點勞氣，尤其中文，不過我認識的都比較大了，近年仲係咪一樣就唔知
不過我所見一直能夠keep住好成績的，同佢讀邊間幼稚園冇好大的關係

多謝你的分享，如果學校做得到，kv都真係唔錯。個人認為小朋友最後叻唔叻，係要靠自己鬥心及態度。

觀察自己兩兒子和3個姪女姪仔在兩間幼稚園畢業，現就讀傳統小學和中學。   
St.cat：小朋友比較活潑好動,學術上父母背後不論$及時間要充足,有足夠support，父母功勞不少。
Kv:小朋友比較自律守規舉,從小已train對取得好成績的奮鬥心，對日後升學路途上從小培養「讀書是自己責任」的性格。

奇就奇在KV同St. Cat係兩間各走極端的學校，但偏偏成為好多家長的首、次選。

我都5信kg對小朋友的將來會有很大影響,不過以我這兩年的observation,kv和st cat真的有他們獨特之處,除非有特別原因,選他們點都係正路d,當然最緊要係適合自己和小朋友,同如入不到要知道不是世界未日. ...
