I prefer places in the Kowloon side. No exact budget but of course not something unreasonable. (i am thinking group class is less than 250/hr and one on one is less 400/hr).
my son is still young so I may be wrong on market price, so please correct me if I am totally off.

Phonics is much better as it can be used in spelling and pronunciation, so it is something for the long term.

It would be unfair to just look at the exam result and say a child has a certain English standard. If they don't ask some questions in English in an interview, how much do they really care about candidates' English level?
