Why less people in BK talk about these IS now?  Are they less favourable by parents as the Chinese is not strong in these school?  Or these schools are not as good as before any more?

So they are still academically among the top IS in Hong Kong.  My friend wants to apply IS for her son and I just want to get some updated info for her.

FIS still has strong academic standard as before. On some subjects in Year 2010-2011 IGCSE results, FIS' students got the highest marks in the world or Hong Kong! http://www.fis.edu.hk/web/Defaul ... &e=2091&h=1;9;-1
Same as GSIS, the class mix is majority international, less than 20% are Chinese.

I'm a GSIS parent.
For GSIS' case, I think it's becos there are only 2 classes per year x 26 students per class (for English stream); plus most of the parents are foreigners (caucasians, mainlanders, Taiwanese) who don't come to BK.
