Question on ABRSM G7 Aural

想問一問, Part D1(答一首歌曲既特性個), 係考生自己講(大概1分鐘左右) OR 係考官問, 考生答呢?

我仔彈琴以黎, 其中一個問題就係緊張
佢話校際比賽同考試都會腳震
我今次都花費左好多x舌叫佢唔好甘緊張
但唔考試, 唔比賽, 佢係練得好hea, 好似無練甘, 彈錯晒音同拍子都唔理, 好無目標
問佢想唔想學, 佢又話想......

-thick texture, wide range of keyboard being used, wide range of dynamics (as compared to classical/baroque)
-presence of chromatism

2. characteristics of 20th century music:
-聽落3尖8角, 大上大落, dissonance harmony is common, means  聽落唔順耳
-change key signature often, modulation to remote key/no key/modal; change in time signature with the piece

3. characteristics of classical music-classical thin D texture
-music is design for harpsicord, clavichord (古鍵琴), key range 比現在piano narrow
-classical music 工整d compare to romantic or modern music, presence of alberti bass (not always), ornaments(romantic 都有 a bit, 不過個feel唔同, classical ones are more elegant, bright), melody oriented
-with modulations, only to related keys (major minor)

yes.
The examiner would let you know the areas they would like to ask before playing the piece (normally 2 areas). Afterwards, they would ask you the specific questions.

D(i) To answer questions about two features of a piece played by the examiner. Before playing, the
examiner will tell the candidate which two of the following features the questions will be about:
dynamics, articulation, tempo, tonality, character, style and period, texture, structure.

In D1, before the examiner plays the piece, s/he would usually say, 'I play & you listen for ....., ..... &.....', then the candidate will have to pay attention to the 3 features as requested. After p ...

Thank you!  My girl is bad in sight-reading and rural.  She got almost full marks in the 3 pieces and scales but failed in those areas......
