其實樓主可以先MARK低大約有幾多間係非報不可既, 再上網睇舊資料，睇下大約幾時會INTERVIEW, 撞期機會大唔大。由於上年10月有一個星期六係公眾假期，所以10月時好多間學校都安排左10月9號INTERVIEW, 好多家長都撞到九彩。

每個小朋友引導的方法不同，有些較接受 "挑戰式"，有些要多點鼓勵，你可以利用你的小朋友較接受的一套引導方法來改進面試表現。

Too few = too risky
Too many = too tiring (for parents and kid)

Bear in mind that some interviews will clash and you have to make a choice.  It was with much effort that I could avoid any clash.  

Making applications are not just about submitting the application form and attending the interviews - portfolios for different schools (as they may have different requirements and preferences), researching for the vision, objectives and methodology of each school, registering for and attending admission seminars (if any), interview preparation, etc.  Maybe we are not very capable parents, as we could handle 8 schools only and we were already stressed out by them.

Then I graduated two years earlier than him.  May be he would know who I am since I am older than him, if he is active in school.  We may find out that later.

I guess application to P1 may probably follow a similar strategy as another parent suggested earlier, apply more to experience different schools thru the process.  I think the P1 process would give more information to parents than the kindergarten process since there are open days and info-session.  I would wanna try that too since I don't wanna limit my daughters' options.  Unfortunately, I do feel exhausted after the interviews we went through the past few years.  May be I will change my mind during the summer holiday.

I guess one thing for sure about the school of your husband and I graduated: we may not produce a student with the best academic result, but we are good men!

yes, i heard about the program too.. sounds great!  yes, you r correct.. i can always decide it later.. my elder son is only K1 this year ...

Do you know they have a pre-P1 program which takes around 7 months?  Accepted students can go to the school every Saturday and have bridging program for P1.  All these costs just a few hundred only (I forget around $200-300).  May be can try it and feel it before you decide whether to move again.

Now get me thinking to try to have one more tim!

basically no points except if the primary section is private/ DSS and it decided to give some preferences to old boys from both primary and secondary section.  This can only be found out by asking the school administration directly.

後來我地選果間都係原本諗住唔報, 然後諗住都係報左先, 費是後悔.
點知in完真係覺得好好, 老師好, 學生又有禮貌, 我地都好鐘意.
