I think, in the first term,  most of the students can get excellents in most items.

Let's add oil for the second term.

Honestly, I don't know how do I know is it full-excellent or not.
My son's first term report got Excellent, except "problem-solving,  all arts parts, show politeness ,concentrates well, help and cares ...

If those items were being "good", no others, he is belong to 叻叻

好多人都認為少個excellent無咩所謂，但事實上亦有好多人好care, 會為左個excellent同學校吵鬧、cry.....  所以學校為佩合家長需要，都會為小朋友免費升lev 一級

英文老師　有張細紙仔　寫低３個ｐａｒｔ分數　ｒｅｐｏｒｔ上係見唔到ｄ分數，只有ｇｒａｄｉｎｇ．

Ic....I didn't realize that is the way how they rate the kids....When I got my daughter's report card, she got all excellents except 9 non-academic areas...I thought all the kids are more or less the same tim....:)

問過先生，上學期無full excellent, 基本上分3批 :
好叻 = excellent + good
叻 = excellent + good + satisfactory
Ok = 咩都有

我記得考小學要求交最新近之成績表，我只交下學期成績表，因上學期成績表唔靚，取得幾項excellent，其餘攞good 及satisfactory!但下學期成績表超靚，學校會比哂full excellent, 評語寫到我呀仔超叻，班主任講過唔達標都比excellent，成績原來都係學校「...」出來的，真確性有幾多？我對咗佢幾年都唔知佢甘「叻」  ，你估我做呀媽唔知個仔有幾多斤両咩，呀仔表達能力及自信一向比同齡不足，要外出上特殊訓練，但老師同我講佢呢两方面很弱，但成績表都比excellent。我唔敢話下學期全班個個同學都攞full excellent，不過我識得嘅原來個個下學期成績表都「一樣」，無可否認，啲家長見到自己小朋友的成績表甘靚都好開心，讚學校及老師做得好！我肯定學校收生成績表係唔重要，因呀仔和其他同學個個全張攞哂full excellent，但我呀仔考咗十幾間私小直資，只有一間麻麻地唔係喜歡嘅私小收。

I believe only 1/3 will get full excellent.

Report card result is not important at all, I mean for those top tier Primary schools. Parents' occupation and address play a much more important role than kids capability.
