你們會選喇沙或是英華？

先前在自行派位已註冊喇沙，前日得知英華取錄小兒；雖然我先生是喇沙舊生，但他也頗喜歡英華，特別是林校長對教育和學生的熱試。他還說直資學校學生水準較平均，因為校長選學生十分嚴僅，不像津貼學校，甚麽類別學生都有機會派讀。老實說，從交申請表至數次面試都花很多時間和努力，現在放棄好像有點可惜，明天是英華註冊的最後限期，請各位給我一點議見吧！

I trust that La Salle will not let you down.

Yet, at the end, the school only provides your son the environment and the opportunities.

Whether your son will grab it is another matter.  La Salle is well known for its student participation in extra-curricular activities.  I guess lots of parents will think the activities might be a waste of time.

I hope you will not think so.  I trust that your husband, being an old boy, should shepard your son well.

我聽 OBA 的師弟講, 前幾年的劉校長好唔掂, 現在 Brother Steve 上台, 感覺很好

外間傳言是不確實的,入得喇沙,誰人都不想離開,離開的部分會去國際學校,小一家長會中,校長開宗明義不會踢人走,成績不好就要努力追趕,放學都有輔導課,這是每所名校必備的。而每年每級都只有十名以下學生離開,為何那麼難入!因很多不想要比貴學費或與入貴族名直資的都想入,聖芳X全級第十名都入不到!扣門更難上加難!我朋友找了五個神父寫信都沒得見!原則上六年級學生
band one - 必收
band two - 要抽籤
band three - 一定唔收
每年大約有80%學生入得書院!相比一些其他名校,我們是非常好的了!今年中學校長Brother Steve Hogan就任,中學的氣氛好到不得了!他參與所有學界比賽,支持所有學生,更為他們上英文課!中學已WIN很多冠軍。舊年會考成績有32個6A以上,A-C%63.96%,總數拿了470多的A。而小學的活動多到你難相信!看你兒子的性向!管樂隊暑假時去了新加坡比賽,參與的學生和家長差不多有200人,而今年更在校際獲得冠軍,梁校長很友善,改革了不少,我們很少宣傳,但家長參與度很高,希望將來見到你!我們每人都以身為喇沙一份子而感驕傲!有空可到中學參加我們的Fun day,你可看到我們喇沙大家庭的面貌:

If top student are all from other schools, It could not reflect the real academic standard.

I won't appreciate such method to enhance a school image.  This is Same as hiring sport athletics who are good at sport and swept all champion in school event.

It has nothing relate to the teaching in the school.  They are paid student.  Famous top tier school Use this tactics to win at school event.  I saw a 5'10 teenager who represented a top tier primary school in joint school event.  Of course he won all medals as he has all the muscles on four limbs.

It is very funny to see the race in person for a group of primary boys to compete with a 15-16 teenager or a young adult.
