My daughter said both.  For insects, it would be the ones that collect nectar like bees or butterflies.  However, the flower and the insect need to be made separately.

So in your class, each kid is asked to make both3-D flower & insect?  In my son's class (3E), those with class nos. in odd no. are asked to make flower while the even no. ones are asked to make 3-D insect.
