I guess more and more parents would realize even by sending the children to these so-called tier one kindergarten, it really doesn't promise anything when it comes to applying for private or DSS primary schools.
Of course, it seems a bit unfair to rely totally on these kindergartens to prepare the children but in reality, may be this is the assumption of many parents when they apply these kindergartens.
Anyway, Pooi To is a pretty decent school and it really depends on what the parents expect, and what environment would fit the child. If the parents want to aim high, then Pooi To may not be your cup of tea, since its curriculum may not provide a strong preparation to compete in the P1 application process. However, if you agree with their approach and feel their primary school is also fit your need, then it would certainly be a good choice. |
